Joe771476 Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 I just saw a new Taurus Interceptor with paint scheme and markings just like you've seen on the internet and in police magazines! It had the white on black paint scheme and the "Interceptor" logo was on the trunk. So is Ford taking it to the streets and visiting police departments nationwide? I saw it in Middletown CT. Joe771476 Posted May 1, 2012 Author Share Posted May 1, 2012 I just saw an all-black unmarked Taurus with flashing lights behind a car on I-84 east in Vernon CT. The strobes were in the grille, windshield and back window. No external light bar. Also interesting was the fact that the license plate number 2224 bears no resemblance to current State Police license plate numbering system. So I don't know what agency was using it.
