jeepgod
With prices going up... and now with DEF in there for diesels... a locking fuel door would be nice.. I do not want to carry around more keys for locking caps..
NickF1011
The thing about locking fuel doors as I see it: Someone who is willing to siphon your gas (the tank inlet tubes on new vehicles contain anti-siphoning devices now anyway) isn't going to hesitate to pry your fuel door open with a screwdriver to do it. cbrown9064
Interesting...in the past Audi's we have owned, the fuel door locked with the rest of the central locking. I thought the new Escape did that also? Chris
jeepgod
Didn't say it would stop anyone who really wanted your fuel.. but it would deter the average guy... They put every other bell and whistle on these trucks.. and I really don't want a locking gas cap with a separate key.. sullynd
Do the supers have the capless fuel system? Diesels too?
tjs157
With fuel prices going up this makes sense
sstakher
Just a lock would be fine. BMWs have a built in lock which allows you only to open the fuel door when the doors are unlocked. This way there is not a different key to open the fuel door.
