Sorry, I didn't take pictures. But with mine, the two bolts for the spoiler did not match up to the knock-outs/lightning holes of the rear hatch sheet metal. So I had to drill two holes large enough for the bolts and driver to pass through. Remember, you don't have to use the bolts. Today's VHB tapes are more than capable.

 

Here is a picture of my rear hatch. I didn't get the top in the picture, but it gives you an idea of what I mean by knock-out holes. You can see lots of round ones, so I just created 2 holes where I needed them.

Has any one posted step by step directions on instal of tape on the spoiler would really appreciated. Mine arrived today

This video is pretty good. I just googled "install rear spoiler ford escape". Even though its a different car, its the exact same principal. But I just used blue masking tape to outline my perimeter. Another person is needed when doing the final stick. Its a one-shot deal. Or have a shop do it for you.
