Or more precisely, i love NOT having a "shifter" in the cockpit. The more i consider it, the more foolish it seems to have a stalk or a lever on any automatic. timf Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 I find that not having the shifter to rest my hand on simply encourages me to keep both hands on the steering wheel, as I should be doing anyway. Oddly enough, the first day I had my car it gave me the message "Car not in Park" even though I did press the park button before turning it off.
