jeepgod
Ok, I have a 2014 SHO and love the push start option but what kills it, is having to dig out the key fob thing to lock the doors. I should just be able to push the button on the door handle to lock the car. Isn't the whole point of doing this stuff to keep it out of your hands and make your life easier? NickF1011
Not quite sure what you're describing? That you can't start the car, exit it, and then lock it while it's running by touching the door handle? Or just that you can't lock it by touching the exterior handle period? akirby
If you have the fob in your pocket you should be able to lock the vehicle by pressing the lock button on the outside of the door handle. To unlock it you touch the inside of the door handle. If that's not working take it to the dealer.
jeepgod
ah hah... our dealer told us touching the outside to unlock it.. never said anything about touching inside the handle... I thought I had touched that outside one trying to lock it, but I guess I didn't. Thank you.
akirby
That's why it's really really important to read the owner's manual.
