signman Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 I was wondering if I could get some of my fellow blue oval members to assist me. I was laid off the week of 2-10-14, and have returned to work 2-17-14. I was always under the impression that we certified for benefits the week we got back to work. one of my co-workers told me we certify next week (2-24-14). can someone please enlighten me as to this matter? SU-FI Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 you're both right, you can actually certify earlier doing it online then waiting to call, i was able to do it online a week before i couldve call marvin, i got my check quicker, but subpay was still slow. snoopy Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 I was layed off for a week after Christmas vacation and did it online before the time to call in. There was, in red letters, a link that said I had a claim open and I clicked on that and it took me right into the questions. Sub pay followed the direct deposit. It went off without a hitch.
