Langston Hughes Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 I understand that it is difficult for you to grasp this topic because you are a left wing extremist and like all left wing extremists you blame America for everything that is wrong in the world and you hate the American military so any opportunity to be critical of both is like candy for you. Do you think that I don't understand that Americans are war weary after years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan? Most Americans understand this but most Americans are not lead around by their warped political point of view as you are. Americans do not want us to get involved in the Ukraine because it has nothing to do with our national interests. This is the reason nations go to war no matter what you might want to claim here. I don't blame America for everything, not at all. I take a realistic view of their involvement in various situations that is all. While you might believe that about our national interest, the rest of us take a much deeper stance on involvement and understand that US hegemony is not always the best principle for engagement. Besides, national interests is nothing more than propaganda to encourage the easily mislead. Although i don't see this as a repeat of Sudetenland, it does worry me that Putin is pushing Russian hegemony on countries with Russian minorities, so i'm a bit more hawkish than most.
