Traveler Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 I understand that there may be more recalls not listed but it seems the only thing they are harping on is the heated seats in two models, mini-vans and the Jeep Liberty. That doesn't seem like a "plague" to me. I understand that there is reason to be upset about heated seats burning someone and I mean this in all due respect, but IMO a paraplegic person has no business with heated seats. Any type of malfunction in a surface in which a person has no feeling could cause serious injury as was the case here. Its their perogative to buy heated seats if they want and to no fault of their own if its a standard feature, but I know if I were in their position, I wouldn't want something like that.
