Dave-S
The front inner fenders are hard plastic and pretty easy to clean up when necessary. But the rear inner fenders are a felt-like material. Is Ford using this type of material as a sound deadener? Any thoughts on how to periodically clean them? Right now the wet leaves stick to it like glue and some of them don't come off easily even with a hose. hybridbear
It's been reported that this material is for sound deadening. Perhaps the leaves will come off better once they dry out. We do not have any leaves that have permanently adhered to ours on either the Fusion Energi or the Focus Electric.
Chris1970
I have the felt like material in all 4 fenders. Almost no tire noise at all.
