bystander
If Ford needs a smaller V8 in the short term to build a credible Lincoln FWD'er, why wouldnt' they use the 3.9L Lima V8? Would it not fit in a FWD application? You would think it would be cheaper to build than the 60 deg Yamaha.
7Mary3
'Ya won't need a 3 valve head if the bore is a decent size! Another Modular/Triton shortcoming: Small bore spacing=small bore=shrouded valves.
Edgey
It's a miracle Ford was able to commit to the 3.5L V6 long enough to make it to production! I've seen countless Ford engines die along the way.
Admiral
It's a miracle Ford was able to commit to the 3.5L V6 long enough to make it to production! I've seen countless Ford engines die along the way. I'm surprised the 3.5 made it too. I mean, why has it taken Ford sooooo long to create an efficient, modern, OHC, large displacement, V6? Chrysler's had on since 1992! What other engines have been canned?
