taylorf250
I added to much transmission fluid and tried to drain some out by pulling the drain plug and putting it back in when I think I've drained enough but the level on the dipstick has not seemed to have gone down any. I've done this twice now. Any idea what's happening? Edited November 7, 2015 by taylorf250
YT90SC
The fluid lays in the dipstick tube. Let it run a while and recheck. The engine vibration will help it settle down the tube.
theoldwizard
Most Ford transmission do NOT have a drain plug !
YT90SC
ALL the current ones except 6R80 do. His TS-5 does.
