RIcky Ranger
Betsy was her name. She was loving maintained by a retired mechanic who lived next door to our family. She was a four door and had a three on the tree tranny. My mom bought her for me for $200 when I was 16 because she didn’t want me walking home at 11pm after I got off work. That car so beautifully simple. I remember standing inside the engine bay as I changed out the cork head gasket. She was very forgiving and highly dependable. When I joined the navy, Betsy was passed along to a family friend. Gone but not forgotten.
ehaase
My father's first car when he moved to the U.S. in 1963 was a 1962 Falcon wagon. He owned it until December 1969 when he purchased a 1970 Fairlane 500 wagon. I have fond memories of the first generation Falcon.
RIcky Ranger
The wagons were awesome. What a great family car that must have been.
