It's the New York Sales Region... Connecticut (Partial), New York, New Jersey & Pennsylvania (Partial?). There may be other areas included but Ford doesn't provide a map or list at the FMCDealer.com portal unless it's buried somewhere at the site and the search function is usually a waste of time.

The scheduling notes provided here apply only to unscheduled orders. Your vehicle will be produced as scheduled but production may be delayed due to the continuing microchip shortage.

Hello, I was curious and I hope this is the correct spot for this question.  I ordered a Bronco Sport on March 17th and got my confirmation the same day.  I haven't received any new information as to a scheduled production date.  I do see lots of supply issues and weather problems.  Just curious if this is normal and when i could anticipate getting more information.

It depends mostly on your dealer and what is in their order queue.  Could be tomorrow, could be 2 months.  Ask your dealer where your order is in their order queue.  Orders are filled starting with the lowest priority first (10 being the lowest) and if there are multiples with the same priority it goes by earliest order date.

This section is for scheduling notes that I post, not for scheduling inquiries but I'll give you a quick reply anyway.

I would first recommend spending some time exploring the many forums and topics available here at BOF which will answer a lot of questions and give you a better sense of all the information that's available. In particular, I'd recommend spending some time reading the information in the Ford Vehicle Ordering & Scheduling Process section which is located in the Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum.

Vehicle scheduling requires allocation. Each Dealer's allocation and their USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) is totally independent from other dealerships. There are a lot of factors involved including a dealership's size, sales volume, market size, etc. but allocation generally reflects each dealership's sales rate. The microchip shortage is causing a lot of production cuts and scheduling delays and will probably be a factor for at least the next 4-6 months or longer.
