F-150 Leveling kit and Warranty

Unless I'm mistaken anytime you change a how a vehicle is delivered you run the risk of voiding the warranty. Thats why I was asking about a ford approved kit that would not void the warranty. Also the adaptive steering and I'm guessing the bluecruise use the camera system and if you change the angle or I think in automotive its called rake you could throw he calibration of those systems out.

Can’t believe that myth is still going around.  You can’t “void the warranty” with a leveling kit (or any other modification).  The worst that will happen is if you had a warranty claim and the failure was due to a non factory part then that specific failure won’t be covered.  But everything else is still covered.

 

E.g. if you put on huge tires and offset wheels and you had a wheel bearing failure that might not be covered.  But it wouldn’t affect a hvac or radio problem.

 

As for the other things they have to work at various angles just due to normal loading and road undulations so I doubt it would be an issue.  If it n it would be called out in the owner’s manual.
