Reynolds416
I have a 2017 MKZ with the 2.0L that is having misfiring and overheating issues. I have a service appointment scheduled for next week and from the research I've seen it's highly likely I have to get a new engine. It's >36,000 miles so well within the powertrain warranty. Has anyone else had to have their Ecoboosts replaced and if so, how long does it usually take? Would Lincoln give me a loaner for the time that the car is in the shop since the engine replacement would be under warranty?
HotRunrGuy
I had a 1.5L EB replaced due to the coolant intrusion issue, took about 6 weeks, and I had a loaner the entire time. HRG

HRG Were you outside the original bumper to bumper warranty, or was it on the powertrain warranty?

It was at 2 years/25K miles, so within the original warranty period. HRG
