  1. Thankfully, my wife turns 65 in May, so we can get her off private insurance. HRG
  2. FYIW, Zeigler will price match others. At least for me they have. HRG
  3. My dealer applies for the $20 Works credit before I leave. Easy peasy. However, I think the current promotion expired at the end of Sept. HRG
  4. I swapped mine out by trading for an actual Tremor, but yes, that seems to be the answer for the 22-24 2.0EB crowd. The Hybrid folks are on their own,,,,,, Have not heard of anyone with a '25 having CV problems, so Ford probably upgraded those components. HRG
  5. Stay tuned, it should be up-loaded shortly. HRG
  6. You might have left some money on the table,,,,, HRG
  7. I had a FX4 w/the black wheels, they were a PITA to clean. I would have traded for the gray XLT wheels in a heartbeat. HRG
  8. As per above; Instead, the 2026 Maverick XLT gets the Ford Integrated Tether System (FITS) cupholders as standard. The cupholder inserts are designed to fit in the FITS receivers that are built into the rear of the center console and under the back seat. I'd expect this to be included HRG
  9. What do Lincoln dealers do all day? That's less than 1 vehicle sold per business day, averaged across the US. HRG
  10. You consider nearly 30 years to be a "few years"? HRG
  11. I have to admit, now that Edge is gone, if I had to replace my wife's '24 Edge, I'd consider going back to an Explorer. But I'd rather not, a 189" OAL fits in the garage much better. HRG
  12. Agreed. A simple AC to DC charger is one thing, but when considering the use of a bi-directional charger (V2H), isolation from the grid becomes paramount. Adding an inverter panel, with the appropriate isolation relays, will be above the talent of most DIY'ers. However, a typical 1-way EV charger (H2V), direct-wired or plugged into a 50-amp 14-50 outlet, should not have the capability to backfeed the grid. HRG
  13. The Whipple supercharger is a Dealer or ASE-certified aftermarket installed offering. Why do you keep calling it "factory" ? HRG
  14. Not too far into the initial 2022 model year, they replaced the traditional resonator with that screen. Been like that ever since. HRG
  15. 1) Isn't the "tech" already in Hermosillo, with the plant-mate Hybrid Maverick? 2) Agreed, the back seat legroom in the current BS is a joke. Good luck trying to fit a rear-facing car seat behind the drivers seat, unless the driver is <5' tall. HRG
  16. Just a couple of days ago, in a neighboring suburb, a 5 year old boy was kit & killed in his driveway, by a family member. Details are very limited, but I sure hope it wasn't by a vehicle involved in this recall. HRG
  17. FWIW, my wife's 2024 Edge is at the dealer right now, the A/C compressor clutch fuse keeps blowing. Works for a couple of minutes after replacing the fuse, gets cold, then fails. HRG
  18. Nice retirement present! Enjoy! HRG
  19. My wife & I did the Labor Day walk on the Mac a few years ago, even with a nominal 10-15mph breeze, surprising how much movement we felt. HRG
  20. My Maverick has the same M14 x 1.5 size studs, and they recommend 142 lb/ft or 200 Nm. HRG
  21. Been on the Maverick bandwagon since the start, and currently on my 3rd, but it surprises me how many people bought a Maverick not because it seats 4, or can haul a bunch of mulch or tow a trailer, but because it was a fairly inexpensive hybrid. There seems to be a LOT of buyers who bought just for the MPG/$$$ equation. It would not surprise me if a 2-door, 2-seat vehicle like the Slate would be popular, IF the price is low enough. HRG
  22. But what is the point when Ford is already selling 100K Bronco Raptors? You mean $100K (cost, not volume) right? HRG
  23. Does he know you've ordered a Boxster rather than a GTD? HRG
