The Residual Value is the value of the vehicle at the end of the lease. It's calculated as a percentage, set by Ford, of the vehicle MSRP and is disclosed in the Ford Credit Lease Agreement. The contract also includes the Purchase Option at End of Lease Term, equal to the Residual Value plus a $500 fee according to the last Ford Credit lease contract I saw. FYI... If the lessee chooses to purchase the vehicle at lease end, the Purchase Option price is non-negotiable per the price disclosed in the lease agreement.
