Joelhabes
I bought my Corsair plug in hybrid August 2023. I got 33 electric miles on the indicator at 100% charge. It has steadily declined and now it’s down to 16-18 on the indicator showing 100% charge overnight. At best I get 14 miles full electric when driving. I asked the dealer and they told me it was normal because it’s cold. But I question this because it’s charged all night in an enclosed garage. Is this typical? Texasota
Totally normal during winter/cold weather. If you use the heater during cold weather, then that will impact your EV range in a big way. BEV owners in Chicago and other northern cities are having a terrible time in the cold weather. Your electric range will begin rising as the temperatures rise in the spring/summer. Joelhabes
Thank you. I do expect the range to drop in the winter, but I assumed the range would start above 27 after 100% charge in my garage then drop more rapidly due to the cold.
