zipnzap
https://fordauthority.com/2023/10/ford-transit-t8-lineup-officially-launches-in-china/ Or is this just for Asia/Asia-Pacific only?
rmc523
Is this based on the current Transit, or is it a re-body of the older model (I know they tend to keep older models around and refresh them too as cheaper alternatives)?

It appears to be a redesign of the current Transit.
Rick73
Front end on some pictures look too squared off for my taste, though other variants look more rounded and aero, which I like better. To be honest didn’t take time to figure out why the difference in these pictures. One feature I definitely like and appreciate is how uncluttered the engine compartment on the RWD Transit with a longitudinal 4-cylinder looks. It was such a difference compared to US Transit that I looked up pictures of similar Transits in Europe, and they too get a smaller engine with more space all around. I know it doesn’t matter in America since practically no one works on their vehicles any more. Still, nice to see mechanics could get to stuff much easier without disassembling half the engine, which could help reduce repair costs.
