MTPwife Posted October 29, 2006 Share Posted October 29, 2006 My 2006 Mountaineer's check gas cap light is on. I nor my hubby can see anything wrong. Has anybody had any similar problems. I'm sort of worried that perhaps someone was tampering with it in the parking lot at MTP where my hubby works. Thanks in advance for any info. HerkyJerky Posted October 29, 2006 Share Posted October 29, 2006 If you checked the fuel cap to make sure its installed correctly and tight enough, and the light continues to stay on after you drive it 2-3 more times, I think a trip to the dealer is the only option.
