Ford blue blood
OK you guys with all the 99 info..........what are the correct numbers for the post fix exhaust system? They are one the mufflers if I remember correctly. I have a set of take offs and would like to know if they are pre or post fix. Thinking about putting them on the 03. Thanks. pj951
OK you guys with all the 99 info..........what are the correct numbers for the post fix exhaust system? Left side: F1 7509 L 41 224 9A Right side: F1 7509 R 41 225 9A These are the numbers on the muffler cans themselves. The stamped part number on the front pipe is the same as the pre-fix numbers. Got 2 sets, saving them for posterity. PJ

Ford blue blood
Just a follow up on the numbers. The old set of pre - fix mufflers that I have in the scrap pile have 118 and 119 on them, the set I am looking at has 222 and 223? Any ideas? pj951
My second set has slightly different numbers in that group. Arvin was the supplier I read somewhere. The best test is just bolt them on. A noticeable difference, almost like straight pipes with a resonator. PJ
pj951
The second set: (said to be post fix, never tried on car) Left: F1 7509 L 41 223 9A Right: F1 7509 R 41 236 9A PJ
Ford blue blood
OK, the guy that has them said to take em, if they work keep them, if they are not what you want scap em. I can live with that and can't argue with the price! Started looking at altuernative systems after 13 hours straight return trip from WI. The flows get a little much. Still want a cool sound around town!
Ford blue blood
OK, have them on, sound is the same, just not as loud. Not too sure I like them but definately an improvement over the stock 03 exhaust. Again, thanks for the info, Bill
