Deanh would argue on that one...I think he said for example, if someone got a Taurus SHO with A/Z plan, the taxes would be more then the spiff check. Then again its less haggling and its more or less a "easy sell" too..but I'm sure their are idiots out there that want even more then A/Z plan!

The only argument that can be made for that is say your on the highway with the cruse set at 75. Then you go on to say a county road where the speed limit is 45. You hit the resume button and your car is going to accelerate to 75 again! More or less a safety feature.

Well it doesn't lose the speed it was set at, you just need to use the pedal to get it over 35...but I thought it was 25? Never noticed it...guess I just have a lead foot! :P

I think someone else from Edmunds was bitching about cruise control interface on another Ford product late last year too...Its trivial to complain about it...its not like iDrive from BMW which is an exercise in futility from what I understand.

How do they expect to make CAFE? I can see them doing it if they can stuff Fiats in their place, but um that isn't gonna happen for another 18-24 months if they are lucky to still be in business...

Yet another WTF from Edumunds I've been looking at Flex steering wheel photos and the on/off button is the second one up from the bottom on the left hand side? Maybe its just me, but Ford has one of the easiest cruise control setups on the road, Toyota is horrible with the little stalk that sticks out of the steering column and GM and Hondas are acceptable. Hell I think the Honda system is nearly identical to the Ford set up from what I can remember! As for the size difference...the wheel base between the G37 and Taurus is only an inch difference, but I'm sure the Taurus dwarfs it in length....and they are complaining about Command seating in the car too...

IMO folding Mirrors are a bit overkill, unless you live downtown in the city..and I'd rather not leave my 40K+ car out on the streets....

IIRC Hermsilo can put out 300K Fusions for North and South America. I think they are about 100K short of that not including South American sales.

The Mito is a neat car, but is anyone gonna pay for it here....Alfa has neat stuff, but I don't think they'll sell a worth of damn in the States.

They should run a a GT500KR against the Camaro....I think the Camaro would be shitting the bed with the GT500KR putting out close to 700 HP

I never noticed the seating on my Focus as much as I did with the Sable...on the Sable it feels like I'm almost too high in the car...but that also could be because the Mustang seats sit lower and there is a higher sill to seat ratio or something.
