  1. its Far from being a full sized SUV, more like Explorer sized or slightly larger Looks nice, but um answers a question really no one is asking.
  2. Ah go figure...when I saw the video, they didn't have list of mods done to the SHO, I asked and they turned off torque management and turned the boost up...
  3. Taller heads (same as the OHV 5.0 that made it into a 351)...though the engine is already a fing huge engine!
  4. No its about protecting the Retail Image of the Taurus and not impacting its resale value But its also all about the $$$...lets see new PI takes our older CVPI equipment with little modification or do we blow $$$ on a untested Caprice and all new equipment? At least you have some extra $$$ to fix the new Ford PI if there is an issue
  5. Fairly interesting that the SHO can keep up with the GT for the most part, even though its down nearly 60HP and weighs nearly 1K more then a GT!
  6. That was my point before...and at least the new Focus has it designed properly in the 2012 model...where its not in the way of the shifter or E brake
  7. Still had MAJOR issues going into 2002 MY with the SVT Focus release. Hey what can I say...my Anut had a original 00 Focus that just died on her...with well over 100K on it, but she had the tired and true SPI engine in it But hey look at this way...hopefully those days are long behind Ford....
  8. Thats disingenuous...I can sure use 550HP to merge easier coming onto an interstate vs needing a trail rated SUV/CUV to drive in the snow with

  10. My 1986 Escort GT, 1998 Mustang GT and 2006 Mustang GT's have all had arm rests and are sticks
  11. I'd like to know if that was just bad luck or what...and how much Emergency driving do you do?
  12. Guess you forgot about those 13 something recalls on it when it came out too ?!?!?! Then again Escape didn't have that great of a launch either and its the best selling small SUV/CUV now
  13. Don't think it was "forgotten" as much as a cost saving measure on the car at the time.
  14. And how many brand new Explorers go off roading?
  15. Pissed off Toyota buyer? :P http://www.app.com/article/20100518/BUSINESS/100518085/1003/Toyota-sites-in-4-states-target-of-bomb-hoaxes
  16. I think thats the biggest issue here...is that the gap between really bad and really good is really really narrow and its hard to go wrong with one of the vehicles, outside of one or two on the bottom end. Its all subjective....and peoples options are formed by things that are said by other reviewers.

  18. I haven't sat in that POS in over 4 years..but I had a Focus Rental (for the several times that my 02 was in the shop) and IIRC the Automatic had it. I remember wacking my elbow on it when I had a rental. Look at this photo...you can't get at the E-brake easily On a Plus note, the 2012 Focus has an arm rest and the ebrake is towards the dash
  19. Funny thing is that I remember my Escort GT had one and my Sisters and Fathers 1990's Escorts had them too..so much for progress
  20. In all seriousness, who cares? If the car lasts me 150-200K over 10 years of usage..thats fine.
  21. The biggest issue is packaging...my SVT Focus didn't have one because there isn't enough room for it! It gets in the way of the E-brake and shifter.
  22. I'm assuming the M is going to be a bigger coupe then the G Coupe? Have a feeling it might be a pig.
