  1. Suuuure, rub it in that you have your car and we don't. Lol
  2. Octane does not matter according to Ford. But yes, ethanol does. Ethanol is a waste of corn and money. I avoid gas stations that use it. Why pay the same price for reduced power and mileage that 15% ethanol gives you?
  3. Yeah, I purposely didn't correct him.
  4. How many miles have you driven total? 110 or 540? It sounds like you've used approximately 28 gallons. 1/2 tank + 3/4 + 1/2. 16gallon tank 540/28 = 19.3mpg Edited because I realized I misread your post.
  5. I replied to the customer service email I got and basically told them that their cut and paste response didn't help and that i would have to cancel my order if the car did not arrive soon. Here is their latest response. "Hello Daniel, This is Dan, also from Ford's Customer Relationship Center. I received your follow up email regarding the order status of your 2013 Ford Fusion. I am sorry for the delay on the delivery of your vehicle and if you are not satisfied with the previous response that was provided to you. After reviewing our records and the information that you have provided, I was able to determine that it has been more than 10 months now since your order was placed. I would like to look into this matter further and document your concern; however, in order to do so, more information is needed. Please include your original message with the following additional information to allow us to proceed. Address: City: State: Zip Code: Daytime Phone Number: Home Phone Number: Selling/Servicing Ford Dealership: If you would prefer to provide this information over the phone, you may call us toll free at 1-800-392-3673 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (Monday-Friday), 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Saturday). Hearing-impaired callers with access to a TDD may contact 1-800-232-5952. Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company. Sincerely, Dan Customer Relationship Center Ford Motor Company" My car was ordered 10 weeks ago, not 10 months ago. Lol
  6. With my forged shortblock in my Mustang, a prominent tuner advised me to stay below 4k rpm and vary my speed for the first 500-1000 miles. I will probably do the same with the Fusion, should I ever get it...
  7. I got a reply from the customer relations email. It is a cut and paste response. My name is Dia and I'm from Ford's Customer Relationship Center (CRC). I received your email about your ordered 2013 Ford Fusion. I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of the delay on the delivery of your vehicle. Our records indicate that your vehicle is currently in transit. There are a great number of variables that may affect production scheduling and delivery: • Option packages • Special powertrain combinations • Delivery delays of components • Certification and quality inspections • Transportation of the vehicle to the specified dealership As such, it is not possible to guarantee a specific delivery date. Additionally, please keep in mind that dealerships are assigned different allocations on a monthly/yearly basis. The number of vehicles allocated to a dealership would be based on several variables. A dealership's allocation will also affect your waiting period as your dealership will only have a certain amount of vehicles at their disposal. Please note that the average vehicle production period is from 8 - 10 weeks from the order submission date to the factory; not the date your order was placed at the dealership Your sales representative at your selling dealership is in the best position to track your vehicle order. We recommend contacting the dealership's Sales Department for further assistance in this matter. Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company. Sincerely, Dia Customer Relationship Center Ford Motor Company
  8. crcfmc@ford.com Ford customer relations center email. I sent them one this morning. The Fusion is massively important to Ford. I'm sure they are overreacting to the problem to eliminate any potential recalls.
  9. I just talked to my salesman. My car that was due 11/5 is now TBD like everyone else. He asked his manager and the manager said it was due to the headlights. That is all he knows. So I take that as a confirmation that the headlights are the issue.
  10. Checking to see if I'm one of the lucky ones to be TBD'd... Thanks much. Vin: 3FA6P0K99DR147544
  11. Ford is not going to send partially finished cars to Flat Rock.
  12. Mine should be here today. It was in the Chicago area as of 10/31. If it has changed to TBD, then something is seriously wrong.
  13. I wouldn't assume anything was the same. That's why there are trim levels. The more upscale trims get the fancier stuff. Your example doesn't fit. A small piece of leather does not make a leather seat. LED's in a tail lamp make it an LED tail lamp no matter the number of LED bulbs. The only difference I can see is that the Titanium has more LED bulbs. If both came standard with 18" rims, I would not expect them to necessarily be the same style. You guys are absolutely making a bigger deal out of it than it is.
  14. Well if the SE's do have LED's, Ford didn't lie about LED tail lights on all models. It sucks that people aren't getting the lights they want, but it was only their own assumption that led them to believe that all models would get the same tail lights. Ford isn't going to specify every minor detail between trim levels.
  15. Do the SE's have any LED's in their tail lights? Or is it only incandescent/halogen?
  16. The 2.0L has active grill shutters
  17. In my opinion, all the technology options are way too overpriced for my liking. I've had to parallel park maybe 5 times in my life, I can pay attention when on the highway, and I can use the free GPS on my phone and save myself $3300.
  18. I ordered 8/29 Built 10/19 As of 10/31 it was in Illinois on its way to the dealership. Due 11/5 This is for a Titanium.
  19. It's better than having to negotiate and pay more. It is an extreme rarity that you'll get a car cheaper than X plan for non A plan people.
  20. Ok, so I lied. Can you please check for me again? I have a feeling the car still has not shipped from Hermosillo and/or my ETA has been moved again. Thanks Vin: 3FA6P0K99DR147544
  21. Most salesman don't give a crap about anything but making sales. They don't read up on cars until they are almost on the lot. I found this out whe I nearly ordered a Focus ST. As far as a Titanium for under $30k, mine is $28,525 with 19" rims and moonroof using A plan.
  22. Highly unlikely at this point. 2 week minimum delivery. Mine has sat a minimum of 8 days waiting to be shipped from Hermosillo.
  23. I'm 147544 and my car was built on 10/19. It should be in my driveway 11/5 as long as there are no shipping issues. But as of 10/27, the car has not left the shipping yard at Hermosillo.
  24. Your car was built on 10/22. That's all I can tell you.
  25. I've had my SVT Focus and Mustang GT for a combined 21 years. I've spent maybe $1500 in repairs total. I would have lost money on warranties.
