Does anyone have any legit (no BS) info? hey vicious, ask any of the former edison employees what #1 means,.... they will tell you it means jack shit! the bottom line determines who stays and who get shit canned. by the way hartford is top dog, not dc. :bandance: rumor has it you guys are safe and sound. there are other depots that are on the block though. what will probably happen at the three (dc, cranbury, and hartford) is more TLO's. we'll see....

When they closed the Edison assembly plant in Jersey they raffled off the last 2 trucks off the line to the employees of the building. An hourly employee got 1, and a salaried employee got the other. Did they do that @ SLAP?

is this so you can bump some lower seniority person out of a job somewhere else (system wide?)? if the moves you speak of are "in zone" maybe what you say makes sense, but to pay a senior employee (25+ years) to move(45k) so they can bump someone with lower seniority (say 10 yrs) out of a job that the senior person will retire from in 2 years just doesn't make sense. ride the gen pool til retirement. i agree that buyouts should be available to everyone regardless of seniority.

thid DID happen @ edison,... but to the people that are in the gen program. they were offered this about 2 weeks ago. the 100k was offered to everyone regardless of seniority. this offer was not made at the time of the plant closing. these people have been in gen for about a year and a half at the time of the offer.

he doesn't drive a toyota or a nissan,...... wtf?!? I'm with ya YNOT. some people just dont get it............
