I ordered a 2013 Edge SEL w/ sport appearance package a couple of months ago. I also went for the "Deep Impact Blue". I hope I like it in person. It will be in next week. I thought the painted grill looked really nice vs. the chrome. It also has suede inserts on the seats. I'll post some pictures when I get it.

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some information/help in regards to the cruise control switch recall which applied to a large group of Ford vehicles including my grandparents 1995 Lincoln Town Car. Long story short, my grandparents Town Car is in near mint condition, it never had any problems and they plan to keep it for a very long time. When I first heard about the recall last year, I brought it in to the dealer and they completed the "first" part of the recall which was basically just disconnecting the cruise control and told me to come back in a few months when they received the new parts. Well, my grandparents took it to Florida and supposedly took it to the dealer on their own to get the second part of the recall done later that year. The cruise control now works, so I assume the dealer installed the new parts. Anyway, I have no paperwork stating the recall was actually done and for my own sanity, I was wondering if someone would be able to check if there are any "open recalls" on the VIN or tell me how I could physically look in the car for myself and see what part was replaced. Anyone perform this recall before? Anyone familiar with what I am referring too? I would appreciate any insight. This car is going to stay in the family for years to come, so I do not want it to be a fire hazard for any reason down the road. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have a PDF 2010 E-series order guide or know when they will be out? I want to get a new E-250 but was hoping they added some new colors as I wasn't too impressed about the 09' colors.

I toured Henry Ford's estate five or six times while I was attending Michigan State Univeristy. Each time I went, I discovered something new and I also highly reccommend the tour. If you are in the Dearborn area I would also take the Rouge factory tour and go to the Henry Ford Musuem. I love that whole area its like FORD COUNTRY!

Are you talking about Ford engineering interns or Ford interns in general? As far a finance, marketing and management interns are concerned, if you do well during you internship you have a very high chance of getting a full-time position. Getting the internship is 80% of the battle since Ford takes so few in comparison to the amount of applicants.....around 45/400 applicants just for marketing. For the gentleman interning with Volvo's Truck Division congrats on getthing the internships (1st and 2nd) and best of luck with the full-time position you will likely be offered in the future.

I was in the bookstore the other day and I came accross this "design review" in automobile magazine and I became so enraged I put the guy's name in my phone so I could write him a nasty letter.....and you wonder why people have such as negative view of the american auto industry...RARELY do american car companies gain recognition from the majorly biased magazines out there.....THE MKS IS A GREAT CAR and is not anywhere near being a "fancy taurus", the interior is magnificient, the styling is bold and the double winged grill and optional equiptment is impressive...THIS CAR WILL DO GREAT SOMEONE PLEASE QUOTE ME ON THIS IN THE FUTURE

being that I am only 21 I can only hope I have a wife as into buying and taking care of Ford vehicles as you are.....i've started the process with my current girlfriend shes coming around to the blue oval more and more everyday

I love loyal Ford customers more than anything especially ones like you who realize your early 07' EL which had some issues doesn't mean all expes' do....glad you are getting an 09'

well I was planning on getting a 08' mustang gt this coming fall but being that the 09' will be a short-run of the current bodystlyle and the 10' will be out mid 09', I think I am going to wait for the new style along with the 5.0 boss package I think the mustang team over in dearborn made the right decisions... the challenger is nice but its 38k and only comes in automatic and some might think its "too retro", the camaro will pull in the chevy loyalists but the interior especially is a dissapointment, the mustang will probably evolve quite nicely and offer enough powertrains and pricepoints to please everyone but then again I bleed blue so its only my opinion

not really buddy if you drive around michigan besides dearborn its not the domestic wonderland it used to be I really wish it still was I actually see more ford trucks back home in nj than here in lansing MI

I just wanted to mention I was sitting at a restaurant eating dinner by the window on a main drag and I counted EIGHT new foci in a matter of a half hour! WOW granted I live right near a college campus but these things are all over along with loads of edges, escapes, fusions its really fantastic I love seeing new Ford product on the streets
