The only thing in the Ranger's favor is if gas prices continue to go as high as they already are and no one will be buying the bigger trucks and they'll resort to buying Rangers.

I was not very happy with that decision whatsoever - i found out a few months after the 06's went on sale. After seeing Rangers in the Screaming Yellow, it just attracted me like a magnet - I wanted it so bad I was planning on ordering my next Ranger in that color - until that happened. I guess I'll have to settle for Sonic Blue instead unless they bring that color back for '07.

Here is the Escape without front camo reveiling the grille. This one shows the grey colored grille, but I have seen one with the chrome grille (like on the Explorer). Notice the grille has "Escape" on it - it def won't lose its identity!!!

This would be a good competitor for the Dodge Magnum.

Is there any particular reason why Mustangs do not have a trunk release button inside the car? The only ways u can open the trunk is to use the key fob or use the lock with ur key. I am a detailer for a Ford dealership and when we deliver a new Mustang, that is a minor gripe, because on previous Stangs, the trunk release button was in the glove box. I do not own a Mustang, but I do own a Ford product. Me along with my co-workers that i work with were used to just opening the trunk using the button inside the glove box, now we have to use the above mentioned methods. Can Ford come with any reason as to why this exists?

Hey, its cool to be honest. I guess u are right. I have driven an Aveo before and they're nothin but crap. It was a manual and the trans was sloppy, wow. The throws are too long, the clutch takes a lot of effort, and the shift pattern is a bit odd - reverse is on the left side. The inside of the car reminds me of a KIA, man is it cheap!!!!! The fabric is blaw and seems dated. Plus the acres upon acres of cheap plastic and its hard plastic. I am also not crazy about Cobalts either. I feel more comfortable in a Focus than an Aveo (I feel more comfortable in any Ford compared to anything else). You may pay more for a Focus, but if you compare them closely (especially inside), then you will understand why you paid more. I also realized, the sedan is already out, but there haven't been too many of them. The hatch model sells more.

Now that Chevy is finally going to have a sedan version of the Aveo, do you think it would compete with the Focus or would the Cobalt be a better competitor for the Focus? Also, would Ford build a car smaller than the Focus?, and if they were, how would they do it while meeting Government standards for Federal safety? Same thing with the Ranger too. The current dash is the same one that was introduced in '95. The only real changes since then is a new steering wheel, pass. airbag panel, new radios, and new gauges.

They could rename the 500 into the Torino. Change the 500 from FWD to RWD, add a hot motor to it, change the styling (not the entire thing), just certain areas. OR They could rename the Crown Victoria. Its already RWD, so all they would have to do is change the styling and add the 4.6 3v motor.

Whats up? With satellite radio finally making its debut on some Ford models, I am disappointed that the Ranger was not one of those models. I hope that '07 Rangers can be equipped with factory head units that are capable for Sirius.
