  4. What problems do you have with your truck?
  5. Just walked through the old truck plant at OAC, and there is new robots as far as the eye can see, I think that might answer your question :happy feet:
  6. Thanks for the info Cherri and Ron, much appreciated
  7. Why don't you lighten up a little. I don't think that these highschool kids are going to cutt in to fords percentage of the market. I wish we had an auto shop like that in highschool :happy feet:
  8. I have a 2002 F150 Lariat with 109000 Km on it. I went and got the printout of what the dealership does for there 100 000 Km tune up, and for spark plugs it said, OP Code 100P,replace platinum sparkplugs, Part#SP479. Would this be the proper sparkplug(AGS prefix) My other question is does this spark plug problem apply to the 2002's?
  9. Sorry to hear that pimp daddy, good luck to you and your family

If you have been layed off that much in the last three years, then you must have 2002/2003 seniority. I know others in your same situation, and they were told to expect some layoffs when they were hired. What do you expect, with all of the brothers coming from the OTP closure. If you have that attitude towards the company you work for, nobody needs you around anyway. Why don't you apply at the new Toyota plant in Woodstock that is in the works?
  11. 2002 explorer limited (1) battery, (2) rear wheel bearings, (3) alternator, (4) front crash sensor which the wiring harness failed due to exposure to the elements,(5) power motor in the drivers seat doesn't always work. All of these problems with less than 100,000km. I realize that with buying a used vehicle, ther may be some repairs, but this is getting rediculous. At this rate, I may have to reserve a spot at the mechanics every weekend
  12. Hey Sparky, Im sure the guys wife has more important things to worry about than having somebody bother her with trivial questions like that. Try and have a little respect.
  13. MTM, you are a smart man, couldn't of said it better myself.

If the engine line is removed as part of the modular build concept, then there will be alot more layoffs I guess we will find out more on sunday.

Last but not lest, engines are being sub-ed out to a shop on Spears Rd in Oakville. Apparently it’s a union shop but the pay is $17 a hour and lay-offs from Oakville have no preferred hiring? Can you be more specific. What are they doing on Spears Rd, are you saying that they are taking away the engine line and having the other company prep the engines ?
  16. Ya, maybe ford should dump all of the other new vehicle lines and just sell mustangs. Maybe they could make a 5 seater mustang, and a 7 seater mustang just for you. Ford can't improve the situation that they are in by relying on old ideas.
  17. that's why the Fairlane is going to be built in the next year or so. (in Oakville as well)
  18. Looks pretty good, but I'm not to sure about the front bumper, looks very plain.

I guess bud and bud light isn't good enough for some people, maybe they will serve Stella and Corona for you next year. B)
  21. Sure is, my alternator went on me on the way back from Florida. (same explorer) It's been an expensive couple of months.
  22. IMA I agree with alot of the information you share with us on the oval, but you should try to get to the point a little quicker
  23. In the last 707 reporter , there was a guy that works in our plant that was asked something like how the high gas prices are affecting him. He said it wasn't a big deal because he drives a fuel efficient honda. People like that need to wake up and understand what's going on.
  24. I heard from a foreman that they want to stop building Aug/sept 2006, and then start retooling for the new Fairlane.
