  1. I'm still curious to see if they will be giving the LSE option (five seater w/ floor shifter) again. Anyone know?
  2. Hey, ice-capades! I saw that the 2008 Mustang order info is out. Any word on the 2008 Focus yet? Thanks!
  3. Hello, all! Anyone have information on the ordering and pricing of the 2008 Focus yet? Just wondering how much all these fancy changes will cost. Thanks!
  4. I've always found it easier to inser the tongue before the side snaps. Normally, I would lift up the front part slightly with the back side in. Then, push down on the tongue with your thumb and insert it into the slot. Make sure it's between the rubber/plastic parts and not between the back of the seat itself and the slot piece. Once you have that inserted, gently slide your hand over the length of the boot where the tongue is. Afterward, fasten the snaps. Now, one thing that I did notice on my 2003 is that sometimes, the tongue would still slide out a bit when you're driving instead of staying put. However, I haven't really seen a negative effect of this. Of course, I dread the thought of the boot flying off one day.
  5. OUCH! Is what I would say in most cases. Except the full size spare was thrown-in to sweeten the deal. :happy feet: On a more serious note, though. When I looked at Ford Parts Direct website, the wheels the catalog brings up are for an Escape. Also, the most recent year is 2006...even though 2007 would be the same I guess. Thus my confusion.
  6. BINGO, Pioneer! That parts department has actually been really good to me. Unfortunately, the dealership has no Mariners left with the full size option on it. So, we are trying to find out the "non-matching" full size wheel. They think they ordered the correct wheel so I wanted to be sure it was in fact correct. Of course, if they "accidentally" get me a matching alloy wheel, I won't complain. :P
  7. The parts department of the dealership I bought my Mariner from is trying to "piece together" the full size spare that was an option on the vehicle. Does anyone out ther know the specifics of the full size spare like the part number? Thanks!
  8. I just picked-up my 2007 Mariner with a V6. It doesn't have the mat so I decided to order one to install. My question is whether instaling the mat will apply undue pressure or interfere with the engine components in any way? Thanks!
  9. Hello, all! I was wondering if anyone knew when the ordering for 2007 Focus ends? I would like to order one later but not miss the deadline. :reading: Thanks!
  10. Hi! Just wondering if anyone knows when ordering for a 2007 Focus ends. Thanks!
  11. I am considering an '07 Focus but need your input based on your experience and/or knowledge on a couple of things. I like the ST with the 2.3L engine w/ manual transmission. However, the ST comes with suede inserts on the leather seats. On the other hand, the SES sedan comes with leather inserts on the leather seats; however, I can only get the 2.0L engine that gets 136 hp. So, what I would like to know are as follows: 1) Is there that much of a difference in performance between the 2.3L and the 2.0L? 2) Should I really be concerned with the suede should it get wet? Thanks for any information you can provide. :beerchug: :beerchug: :beerchug:
  12. Any idea on when the pricing information would be available for 2007 Mercury vehicles...especially the Grand Marquis? Thanks!
  13. From everything I read and hear, the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis are headed to that pasture in car heaven. So, before they vanish, I would like to see a Grand Marquis LSE version with the current (2006) options such as moonroof, foglights, heated seats, etc. I am more interested in the five seat configuration rather than the six seat. Thanks for reading!

  15. I would love to see what the changes are. I'm hoping they'll have an LSE option, at least, so I can get one.
  16. Here's my 2003 GT Convertible in Sonic Blue. :yup:
  17. Quite certain. The blue color gave it away. In fact, the service department confirmed it yesterday. Apparently, there's a leak in the reservoir...of course, a new bottle needs to be ordered. Also, one of the two weatherstripping that was ordered was not right. Ugh! Well, at least these are all warranty items. :P
  18. Well, mine have been very minor so far. Just noticed that the washer fluid drips from the bottom of the reservoir or something after running the car. Only like 10 drops after parking and turning off. Will have the service shop check while she's in for service. Also having them replace two rubber weatherstrip pieced on the convertible top where the passenger window makes contact when closed. Have had some trickling there. :burnout:
  19. Well, now. According to the date on the sticker, my car was finished on a Wednesday. However, there are some traits of a Friday car. Go figure. What can I say, though...I still like my '03 GT Vert. :happy feet:
  20. I wish I could chime in with an observation on my '03 GT Vert. Unfortunately, I don't know if there's a way to find out these dates in archives. If I had to guess, though, I'd say my baby was one of those days based on some of the flaws.
  21. I know of the Marauder. My interest in the LSE is mainly for the nice V-8 powered full-sized family car. I already have an '03 Mustang GT Convertible for fun. After going through many used vehicles, I've pretty much decided that I'm done with them. Only new from this point on...unless I find something from my past that I want again.
  22. That's my concern. I would like to get a new one before it's too late. So, I was wondering if the LSE was in the works again this year. At the same time, I wonder if there's any plans to put the 4.6L 3-Valve engine into the Crown Vic or Grand Marq.
  23. Hi! I'm new to all this so please bear with me as I learn the ropes here. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there would happen to know about the Grand Marquis LSE versions. I noticed that they had a limited run of them for 2005 even though the initial information didn't mention it. So, I would like to know if that's a possiblity for 2006? Also, are these cars to be continued in the future years? Thanks!
