If you like to be taken care of by the Gov so much, there are other countries that Im sure would take you that have less of a standard of living that we do. The only whining I hear is from the transfers working on the line with there high senority bitching about it! If U dont like it take the buyout because your going to be there for a while!

Get use to it, they have been doing it at VD for a while now even though lines are on tlo just about every other week. Plants are being over filled to get rid of gen, then they will start chopping from the bottom! Side note : Why did 30 year employees from Sterling give up there good jobs to come work OT at VD (which there is none) and now are stuck on the line complaining they should of never come?

Contract??? Have you seen the news lately? The contract has always had many loop holes to it, but going forward will be an open book should it even exist!

Utica Gen is hearing openings at Romeo, Sterling and VD. Last 30 for now anyways are starting at VD the 12th. Plants are being filled to cut any overtime, thats straight from the plant manager.

Utica Gen will be filling any openings at Sterling before any OT is paid.

Ranger M, why must it always be about the UAW wages? What about the bail out to the financial industry, are any of there workers taking huge pay cuts? If what your saying is let the free market take its course, then there should be no bailout for anyone. Why would you support a bailout to an industry that have people making what you make in a year, in a day.
