  1. I am sick sick sick hearing about the retirees and what you fought for, you fought for yourself, you wasnt thinking about the new workers that can after you, anyway the last strike was in 1976 that is 35 years ago , so it wasnt to much fighting in 35 years. And you want us to strike so you can get $600, be or real, If you need more money come back to work I will retrain you on my job
  2. LOL I wanted $12,000 but would had took $7,000 so the $10,000 that I am selling my vote for, hey I am feeling really good---lol
  3. LOL man you are funny, Ford can have all those plants up and running in about 3 weeks, when a new worker come in they be up to speed in 3 to 4 days, how long did it take you to learn a job------- anyway why do you want the contract voted down, just asking
  4. what you dont like about the contract
  5. I agree with you and I am pissed too, but we have to be smart also. Now is just not the time to strike, let the company keeping making money, they are just getting back on their feet, if the company keep doing good them we can make a stand next contract, as long as we are getting something back little by little then its all good, just remember it took us a lifetime to get the things we gave up so it would not be fair to think that we can get them back in one contract-----I am just saying
  6. I can not understand why so many people are voting no on this contract. Yes there are somethings in the contract that I don't like, but I don't see one thing in there to go on strike about. I look at it this way, I will be making more money this year if the contract pass. And if Ford keep making big profit like they are doing now I could be getting at profit check for $12000, not counting the other money they want to give us. Sound like a good deal to me. People keep talking about the things that we gave up, people we GAVE THEM UP, they are gone and Ford is not going to give them back, would you, Ford is trying to keep the company cost down, so they are not going to give us those things back. But if you really look at what is going on, you will see that Ford and UAW are trying to give us some of those thing back but in a differ way. We have to start thinking outside of the box. I don't see the differ and don't care what they call it as long as it is more money in my bank account. They can call it cost of living or inflation, and I can go on and on, I just don't care what they call it cause when it get to the bank it is all money. People have to understand this is not the old days, if we go on strike we are going to lose, and may lose your job. Over what, something that we GAVE UP, if you wanted it that bad you should not had voted yes on it. Now is not the time to make a stand, we can not will this fight, maybe next contract but not this one when so many people are unemployed. who are going to support us, nobody. If I was Ford I would love for us to go on strike, cause this would be the best time to bust the union and get new workers in there making $15 a hour. How many people do you think will line up to cross the line to have a chance to work for Ford. Remember in Lousiville KY 12000 people can out to apply for 1200 jobs that are paying $15 a hour, wow, and why are we voting no again.-----Just understand if we are going to get back the things we gave up it will take time--- Also is this contract making us better over all or is this contract taking more from us-------------and if you don't agree with me please keep your name calling to yourself---lol----- by the way I may be wrong
  7. LOL I feel you but be for real---I am tired of people saying that we gave up 30k and that we want it back------look we gave it up, it is gone get over it---now is the time to try and rebuild---it took us years to get those things and we are not going to get them back in one contract-----I am voting yes
  8. YOU ARE A AZZ CAPTAIN-----CAPTAIN AZZ 723, ALL YOU HAD TO SAY WAS THAT i WAS WRONG , AND THAT WOULD HAD BE IT, BUT TO CALL ME A DOUCHE BAG YOU AZZ, ------DO U KNOW WHAT A DOUCHE BAG IS-----A DOUCHE BAG IS WHAT YOUR MOTHER USE TO FEED YOU WHEN YOU WAS A BABY AZZ :kissass:

  10. people be for real the grievance has already been settle with the agreement, don't you remember bob king saying that he would like to handle the grievance in negotiations and not at Arbitration. So think about it, the Arbitration dates has been setup just to close the case out and we don't get anything cause we already got it in this so call GOOD CONTRACT, as they are saying all over the news, just think about it----- I may be wrong but once we vote on the new contract the grievance is dead--- check out the links My link My link
  11. You are right this is BS, the company and the Union knew at the beginning that we, the workers, would have to fund the VEBA. You don’t have to be to smart to know that if you have a fund set up which pay out so much money a year and you are not getting the right amount of return on your money, than you would have to put in more money just to maintain your current investment. The union and company knew this and decided at the time that they make this deal that they would get it from the workers. Just think about it, why would the union agree to take on the VEBA which is base on the market with all its up’s and down’s. Now they want us to pay 10%, be for real. I am all good with helping the retirees but not by taking money from my family. Lets take a look at the numbers------- Tax = 41% plus Union dues of 1% ( which I don’t see why they should get this, we are already paying them each month ) and now VEBA 10% which is 52%. Now the Taxes may be wrong, I think that is just Federal. So if we add in State and City which I guess is around another 6% which I may be wrong, but that would take us to 58%-------WOW----- so if we get a profit sharing of $8000 you will be bring home around $3360.Now that is BS. The Union is jacking us around they care more about the new hires than the members who been paying dues for years. The new hires are the future of the union, why you think they sold out the retirees, now they are trying to sell us out again. Giving the new hires a raise at the same time taking money from us again. UAW just want more members so if they can show the other auto factories that is not unionized that they can get $2 to $3 an hour raises when everybody else are taking pay cuts and pay freeze, so that they will sign up with them----I am just saying-----something to think about-------
