  7. I bought my explorer with 13,000 miles. had tires rotated at 20K and 24K . (at Ford dealer along with oil change) Tires seemed to be getting louder, so at 28K I had tires rotated and balanced along with alignment at a tire place. He said the tires he moved from front to back looked like they were cupping. He said that comes from not rotating. I told him I had rotated twice (not balanced I guess). He said if the ones moved to the front started cupping, i probably need to get into Ford to have front suspension looked at. My warranty 3 yr 36k is coming to an end. Has anyone had this issue? what was problem?

  9. It was the clips for the felt sound deadening panel under driver's side. Some were missing. Repaired by my Ford dealer.
  10. I have a rattle when I get above 45 mph. (It used to be 55 mph). It's in the driver side post between front door and back. With it being mph related I would guess it's something on the outside. When I had it serviced last, it was on a Saturday, which is mainly oil changes, I had read on explorer forms that it might be the felt sound proofing come loose. they tightened everything, but it still does it. Any ideas?
  11. I had the thermostat housing replaced a year ago. My guy was honest enough to tell me the t stat sensor was bad and covered under his warranty. All is well.
