  1. Average is based on 1,850 hours not 2300!! There's only a few plants that it would even be possible to get 2300 hours and thats only with TONS of OT. 1,850 hours is working 40 hours per week....and yes thats in the contract language.
  2. I think the union is blaming Snyder to try to cover their butt!!! When I hadn't received anything from UIA by the end of our layoff week, I went online and opened my own claim, (at the end of the Oct 28th week) and I call the week of Nov 11th. It's their fault for opening claims a week late, therefore delaying you calling UIA a week later. You can "thank" your union for lying to you about it being Snyder's fault!!! When I heard that, I also did research on it and found nothing. I guess they think people will just take their word for it and not look into it!!! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the things that our union does, but don't we all just deserve the truth. Just man up and admit that you messed up!!!!
  3. I can't answer your question but am very curious what the website is that you found that information. As I am doing my own research on a relocation. Thanks and I hope you find your answer
  4. It should go into your account next Wed.
  5. I'm having the same problem. Do you have the number to the tech line. I appreciate it. Thanks
  6. Does anyone know the website address for the new company so we can access our information once the blackout period is over? Thanks

Just curious to know if the plant is still rotating weeks off between the crews? If so, when is the next time that B crew is off. Thanks
  8. I had Blue Preferred Plus last year and switched to a HMO. I really cant help you with the co-i but I can say that if I were you, I would stick with the HMO. When I had the PPO, it seemed like everyday I was getting a bill for something. I had it for many years but in the last few years the deducts and financial responsibility has gone up though the roof! At least with my HMO, I know its $25.00 for the copay and I will not receive any other bills. Also if you have to see a specialist, (with Priority Health) you dont need a referral if you stay with an in-network doctor which is the same with the PPO. I think that an HMO is your best choice for financial reasons. I probably didn't really answer your questions but wanted to give my opinion so your not stuck with an insurance for a year that you probably wouldn't be happy with.
  9. You will receive your pay for the 4th on July 10th.
  10. We at WAP got the same thing. I asked the committee about it and they said fill it out. They can't force you to keep those dates, if things change you can change the dates of vacation. Also you don't have to use them at the same time, (our sheets said the same). They said this was more for determining vacation for senority people during hunting season, the high hitter at WAP. Hope this all made sense. Good Luck
  11. No call here yet. They will probably wait until Sunday night to call and say report Mon. As for being off until after the March layoff. I sure hope not!! The last I checked we only had 7 more weeks of unemployment left (although I don't know when our year renews with UIA) I was told though, that they had to get the rest of MTPers back to work ASAP because of all the grievances being filed. Its still a waiting game and I'm tired of playing!!!!
  12. Does anyone know an e-mail address to Junior Robinson? I think we all need to ban together and flood him with e-mail's or break his door down to find out why our local contract isn't being enforced!! 6-10-15!!! Why are the higher senority workers still laid off while lower senority is still working? We need answers!!!
  13. I am only concerned about shift because I am a single parent. As far as stay where I'm at..... I'M LAID OFF FROM MTP!!!! Yes I'm waiting to be transfered to WAP but their plant chairman isn't doing what's right by the contract!!! I just want to get back to work!!! There's really no need to be an ass about someone asking questions.
  14. How many people will be left from Saline after the 800 temps are gone? I understand that there will be 2 sen. lists so I'm curious how many people will be left so I can make a decision to come or hold out. Also are the 800 temps primarily on the same shift or spread out between the 2 or 3? I just can't get stuck on afternoons this is why I have all the questions. Thanks for your input
  15. Correct me if I'm totally wrong, wasn't the Saline plant up for sale? If so, is it still up for sale or is it one of the ACH plants that Ford is taking back? Just curious because I'm really thinking about signing up to come. How is the work there? (couldn't be any worse than MTP!!! lol) I know it's a temp position but it's better than being off with no date of return and jobs bank probably disappearing! I will just be happy to have a job right now.
  16. I understand that but then direct deposit should have been today and that didn't happen. Asked Poet and he said that sub checks are only cut on Mon and Thurs, should be cut today with direct deposit happening on Sat or Mon.
  17. Of course, no sub pay today either. Makes no sense!!!!! Just pisses me off that they can cut sub pay at their leisure but if it were their checks they would be right on it!! Does anyone have a number to payroll so I can call and find out whats going on?
  18. Read in the paper that they changed the law to 2/15/09.
  19. Laid off from MTP right now and waiting on a transfer. I have not received my W-2 either. As far as I know, no one has received them yet. There are people still working in labor at MTP though if you wish to call. 734-467-0560
  20. Thanks for the info. As much as I'm ready to get back to work, I think Feb. would be ok. Do know that WAP is supposed to be working this week and next then laid off for 2 weeks. At least being off until Feb. would keep our unemployment regular instead of the waiting game again!!! Keep us posted on the grievances too if you hear anything more.
  21. Just wondering if anyone has got any calls yet? Still waiting here.
  22. Thanks for the info. Guess I won't stress over it.
  23. Just wondering if anyone else that called Marvin this week got the message that you have to file at MI Works before Jan 12? Was to late to call UIA today so if anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it. If not I will make a call on Fri. Happy New Year to all.
  24. No. I believe someone was asking if WAP was returning the 5th. Off until the 20th at least, some of us will be longer.
  25. Nothing here either. In the past though my stubs always came to me on Wed. I guess lets hope they come tomorrow.
