  1. Hello again. Just checking in to see if there are any updates - I don't see the window sticker is available yet, which seems odd. Thanks so much. VIN 5LMJJ2KT9MEL14588
  2. Hello, Could you please provide a status on VIN 5LMJJ2KT9MEL14588? Thank you for all you do.
  3. Dealer says my niece’s vehicle is scheduled to build this week but I can’t get the window sticker, which is concerning as I’ve generally seen the sticker available the week before production. Using https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?VIN= which has always been reliable and seems to work with VINs found on Lincoln website. Does anyone have visibility if I PM the VIN? Thanks.

  5. Building hardware that isn't future proof is a bad idea, as is putting the latest Sync4 hardware in the 2021 Nautilus and a bunch of 2021 Fords but not the flagship Navigator. I'd be interested to know how materially different the Sync4 hardware is and why it isn't in the 2021 Navigator. When I was driving Expeditions, the Fusion and Explorer usually had more current hardware than the Expedition. Doesn't make sense (to me, anyway) to not put the best in your top products.
  6. And I'm sure that older (read: 2021) versions won't get the Sync update, because that's how Lincoln rolls. ActiveGlide, Sync4, symphonic chimes, and second row massage. Meh. And they still haven't fixed the nonsensical split front row center armrest (it creates a useless void while accomplishing nothing). At least the got the color right for the demo vehicle. ?
  7. If you aren’t already familiar with it, check out www.pure-gas.org to find ethanol free gas near you. They also have apps for your phone. I use ethanol free gas for my portable generators.
  8. I’ve used regular for years. Never really noticed a difference with premium. Everything continues to run fine. PS - congratulations and welcome to the family.
  9. LOL - that was my question as to whether it really was reprioritized. Based on your message, it clearly was. Many thanks for your input. I really appreciate it.
  10. Thanks. Do you by any chance know what the current lead time is for a Nav Reserve 4x2? Order was placed two weeks ago and dealer said that the regional office bumped priority so build is scheduled to week of Sept 6, but that sounds like a normally scheduled build date for a mid-July order. Please let me know if I should push back or, given the current situation, that's as good as it's going to get. Thanks!
  11. Thanks. They said they could have priority assigned (didn't specify what) and delivery would be in September - does that sound right for a priority 01 order? Seems long, but with the current situation that may be fast. Vehicle would be a Reserve L if that matters.
  12. If I place the order, is this the type of situation that would qualify for being moved up in priority? If it is moved up and the dealer has allocation, any ideas what the turnaround time would be? Vehicle would be a Reserve L with second row bench and Lincoln Play. Thanks!
  13. Had a deposit on a 21 Nav and it was sold by another salesperson. I must have a second row bench and there are none around. Needless to say, I am infuriated. Dealer said he will do what he can to make it right - only way to make it right is to get me the vehicle I need Is there any way the dealer can order and have the regional scheduler force it to priority 01 so I get it ASAP, not 8-12 weeks? Any other suggestions? Thanks!
  14. I think it reflects quite poorly on a luxury brand to have a 3 year old vehicle's infotainment system stuck on an old software version, in their flagship vehicle no less. From what I recall from when I had an Expedition, there was a similar issue where the Fusion had the latest and greatest and kept receiving updates while the Expedition was stuck on an old build and was never updated. I understand that today the differences are not significant, but they may become significant in a few years and there's no reason they should be designing the Sync system in such a way that it isn't backwards compatible with older hardware. Lincoln/Ford needs to get its act together.
  15. You are correct - I meant auto stop/start is turned back on. I have to manually turn it off each time the vehicle starts. As to why I use auto hold all the time, I’m in a bit of a unique situation as I am disabled and use hand controls. Thus, auto hold allows me to rest my left hand while stopped.
  16. Reporting back on this - the 21 works exactly like the 18: when you turn the engine off, Auto Hold and Auto Start/Stop are both turned off and must manually be turned on next time you start the vehicle. If anyone knows of a setting to keep either or both of these enabled between starts, please let me know. Thanks!
  17. Contributory negligence. It's a balancing test of how much each party's actions contributed to the outcome.
  18. Thanks. Was that bulletin for all Nav sync systems or just a particular year?
  19. 1465 invoice / 1665 MSRP on my invoice for a 21. I have a 4x2 Reserve so I can't answer about the 4x4. Check the order guide on this site.
  20. Update FWIW - vehicle won't be here on time for the road trip, which is good as I have a ton of unused miles on my lease as I was home for most of 2020 (85 mile round trip work commute).
  21. I have one of the first 2018s built and the system most definitely does not remember my Auto Hold setting. I feel like a fighter pilot every time I get into the car as I start it and then turn on Auto Hold and turn off Idle Engine Shutoff (whatever it's called). Don't know if that changed in later software revisions. I'm taking delivery of my 21 Nav within the next couple of weeks (it's on its way to the dealer) and will let you know if the 21 remembers the setting. Also, note 2 and note 3 are in conflict. You can't have it both ways (unless the manual means that Auto Hold won't work when the engine is off, but that is a bit of a nonsensical statement). Checked the 21 manual online - notes 2 and 3 are both there.
