  1. This is what happens when you stop visiting here. Let it be a warning to you lol. How about, the engine formerly known as the 3.5?
  2. Hey guys, haven't been around for a while. I have a 2015 Mustang 3.7. I hadn't looked under the hood most of the winter. I decided to check the oil, as I'm at a bit over 8000k, and I noticed that the brake fluid reservoir is empty! You can see brake fluid stained all around the cap, making me think they must have had to add fluid to the car when it was serviced and had the tires and rims changed over in the fall. I haven't noticed any difference in braking performance, but I'm hoping to get this taken care of soon, as I feel that brakes are rather important. I was just wondering if anyone else has had or has heard of similar problems. Edit: Turns out, dot 4 brake fluid is almost clear. It's actually over full. Forget I asked lol.
  3. No one is responsible for the own actions. Society is inherently racist at it's core and even black people who work for the man can't help but be racist. White privilege and all that...at least that's what I hear. Personally, I think that people, no matter where they start, make their own lot in life. We all have choices. We can choose to assault police officers and try to take their guns...or not. I'm going to to with not.
  4. I know, I was his Facebook friend, and I couldn't believe the news when I saw it. I posted a few words on his wall about it. He was, from what I could tell, a great guy. I'm definitely not 19. I'm 25 now, and I'm actually a partner in my parent's business now...totally changed my world view. I wish I still had my 300, but they just don't last. I have a 2012 Lancer for now. Can't trade up, as I'm engaged to be married, and money is sometimes hard to come by.
  5. I'm just checking to see how many of the old members are still around. I haven't been here in a long while, and I thought I'd check in.
  6. Actually, the newer pictures by rmc don't seem to put it in as bad a light...but still not my favourite car.
  7. That angle is far nicer, but I just can't get past the front.
  8. I agree, especially when it comes to the side profile. This one gets crossed off the list, I think...not that I was in the market right now.
  9. Careful....we are socialists after all. In all seriousness though, TransCanada now says that they will start the southern portion of the pipeline next year. The northern section will have to wait until it gets approval. The Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and the TransMountain pipeline expansions still have to be approved by Environment Canada, as well as the BC Ministry of Environment, and Alberta Environment. There are also potential first nations land issues that come with the Northern Gateway pipeline, so those two projects are still a couple of years away at best.
  10. For those of us in the Commonwealth, today is Remembrance Day. Lest we forget. In the words of Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, a field surgeon with a Canadian artillery regiment:
  11. I think Americans tend to worry way too much about tiny thins like this. There are bigger issues.
  12. I'm not convinced that it ever really improved.
  13. Oh yeah, that was the other problem. You should really get it checked out, as our engine ticked turned out to be caused by a faulty catalytic converter.
  14. lol, we all use our vehicles quite differently. My brother, for example, won't take his off of the pavement, while another person I knew had water running into the cab one day off roading.
  15. I'm in a position to know everyone around this area. My town is small at 175 people, but I know all 1000 people in the are, but you're right, I don't know everything that goes on with their vehicles. I do know about the F-150s in my own town though. We had a Buick that was crap too. All 3 Chrysler LX cars that we've owned have performed very well. I know, statistically Ford has better quality. I'm just frustrated because I haven't seen it. I mean: 1995 Windstar - Computer....3 times 1998 Windstar - Computer....2 times 1998 Taurus Wagon - Computer, and something else I can't remember 1998 F-150 - best truck every, not a single problem other than some corroding hoses. 2005 F-150 - all the interior lights were buying out, and the transmission slammed into every gear....they couldn't fix it. 2008 Ford Explorer - front end went twice, the seat broke, and the door wouldn't stop rattling no matter how many times I opened it up. 2010 F-150 - the rear end needs work, it's shaking at idle for some reason (it's gotten better with the cold), and both front doors have terrible rattles that suddenly appeared. 2011 Fiesta - rattling door....hopefully that's it.
  16. When you spend as much money as he has on a vehicle, you expect it to work as designed at least some of the time.
  17. Perhaps, if you'd stop trying to be so smart, you'd realize that the place I live is small. There are 5 F-150s built after 2010 here. All have had their rear ends replaced, or they need need replacement. Two of the trucks are on their third rear end. It's not a very big sample, but it's a pretty terrible looking situation. The reality is, also, that every Ford we've ever owned but one since 1994 has had major mechanical or computer control problems. Again, that's a small sample, but it's a pretty terrible looking situation. The 2010 F-150 in our yard will not be replaced with another Ford, I can tell you that. I know the scores don't agree, but overall, Dodges in the area and in the yard have been far more reliable. My entire list of issues? A power steering pump on a car that was abused before I had it, and possibly now a starter on a 6 year old car.
