The LS is definately not a smallish car; it's a mid-size according to the EPA. It got 5 stars in all categories of crash-tests. (I think; at least in frontal crash tests.) I KNOW THAT THE PANTHERS ARE SAFE AND RELIABLE BUT I AM NOT GOING TO DRIVE A BIG GRANNY CAR! Thanks, though.

Thanks. Although the Town Cars are VERY reliable, I would never buy one, especially since I will be driving my car to school!! I have saved about $6000 and my parents are giving me a '99 Ranger with 190k miles. According to Kelly Blue Book, it is worth about $4000. I will sell it. It is a VERY reliable truck but I want something newer and sportier. My dad will be paying my insurance (until I get a ticket or I have an accident that is my fault), so that is not a very big issue. I will always own Ford vehicles. Nobody in my family has ever had an unreliable Ford. Thanks again.

I am 16 and thinking about buying an '01-'03 Lincoln LS V8. I want one with less than 100,000 miles and $9,000 or less. I have found several good deals on autotrader.com. I want heated seats and a sunroof as options. It gets decent fuel economy, has 252 horsepower (0-60 in less than 7 seconds), rides very smoothly, and handles with agility. Do ya'll think a LS would make a good first car? Thanks!! :shades:

The reason one should buy Ford is because of the reliability of its products. I have a '99 Ford Ranger with 190K miles, no problems. I have a '99 Ford Escort with 180K miles, only had to replace the alternator. I have an '01 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3L with 180K mi, no problems (had to replace a 30 cent fuse, wow.) My sister has an '01 Ford F-150 with 175K miles. Have a '96 F-350 with 160K miles, no problems. My brother has an '02 Chevy S-10. At about 50K miles, he had to have the rear end replaced.

Maybe they will improve the brakes, too. I'm sure that would help sales at least a little.

On Feb. 16th, my Mom and i went to our Ford Dealership. They had lots of Expeditions, F-150s, and Super Duties. They had a few Edges, Fusions, Focuses, and Tauruses. They had 2 Escapes and several mustangs, including a GT500 convertible. But, there were no Taurus X's (in which my Mom is interested), and no Rangers. What's up with that?

In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, "Before i formed you in the womb, i knew you, before you were born, i set you apart." He is clearly stating that an unborn baby is in fact a living human being. In Luke 1:44, Elizabeth says to Mary, "As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy." The Bible clearly states that an unborn fetus is a living human. God commands us to refrain from murder. Put two and two together.

Jesus says "But, anyone who says, 'you fool!' will be in danger of the fire of Hell". In Matthew, ch 5, verse 29? Jesus says, "If your right eye causes you to sin, gauge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into Hell." What about in Matthew ch10 verse 28, Matthew ch 18 verse 9, Matthew ch 23 verse 15, Matthew ch23 verse 33, Mark ch9 verse 43, Mark ch 9 verse45, Mark ch 9 verse 47, Luke 12:5, Luke 16:23, James 3:6, and 2nd Peter 2:4? The Bible doesn't mention Hell?!?!?!?!?
