  1. 2015 C&C trucks have been being built. Someone I was just talking to got theirs delivered a day or 2 ago. FYI - the 2015s are the same as the 2014s, no updated motor like the 2015 pickups.
  2. From the same article above.. felt the need to post it again... So they didn't bring it to the US because it would compete with their other vehicles but now they are bringing it so it will compete with their other vehicles????
  3. https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/gm-expands-igniton-recall-yet-again--sees--1-3-billion-bill-182948515.html
  4. If they have any autoshow rebates for the superdutys.. grab one for me, I'll be glad to compensate you if necessary.
  5. Yes.. even for Toyota which I can't stand, I have no issues with manufacturers having recalls as long as they do it timely. I don't take recalls as a negative thing in my eyes as long as it's handled appropriately.
  6. Thanks for updating us.. This is good news finally!!!
  7. Might as well get all the recalls out there while everyone else is doing it.. http://news.yahoo.com/toyota-says-recall-6-58-million-vehicles-steering-050257442--sector.html

  9. Ahh.. that's why mine got built on 3/24.. The dealer put it in as dealer stock so I'd get it faster. Was nice of them to do that however, I'm all set with it lol.
  10. The only thing I can think of is that they were not building customer orders, only dealer stock (100% opinion). I was told last night that they are running 20 hour days at the plant now. I have seen a few people say they just got a VIN assigned the past day or two.
  11. Sorry, just had to tease you a bit.. Wasn't being serious.
  12. So I decided to look at my local dealers website. I'm seeing between $5,500 and $7,600 off advertised on the 14s so far.
  13. Love this, stated perfectly!! That's why I posted about filing a NHTSA complaint before giving Ford a chance to fix is ridiculous. Being on the Explorer forum for 3 years, I've not read this issue (besides the CAC blowing off but that's a separate issue) and it seems to be a 1 off issue, maybe 2. Why file a complaint on something (I know it doesn't work like the BBB) before any manufacturer has had a chance to fix the issue. Love, not logic.
  14. Waloud, I have a copy/paste of Ford's screen that is showing trucks being repaired off site so I don't understand why it would say that based on what you just said. Are you saying the 15 diesel trucks are still being built? I'd assume the motors are still being built but if Ford hasn't scheduled or accepted orders (6.7 or trucks with backup camera) for almost the past month, how can the trucks still be built? I would have thought they would have hit the end of production by now of the original orders up to the time of stopping the order scheduling.
  15. I have not heard anything yet. I did read on another forum that they were starting back up today but it was not from the people that I know so I'm not taking that as fact. I have no clue about blackberry... I've had MFT and ever since the 3.6.2 it has been almost flawless. I have no complaints and can't wait to have it in my truck. There is definitely a learning curve and add that to an older crowd it doesn't fair well. 3.6.2 is what Ford should have released from the beginning. I've been told that they have a TON (thousands) of trucks all on hold and they are doing off site repairs to them. I placed my order again on 3/28 but it is not being pushed through until my guy tells me it is safe. Last I was told, 3rd week of April.
  16. IMO, you really jumped the gun. Why file a complaint with the NHTSA?? You haven't even had Ford look at it yet besides scanning codes. Why not give Ford the opportunity to try to fix the problem before filing formal complaints? That's like filing a BBB complaint on a product without telling the company you have an issue with them. I would hate to deal with someone like that.. and I have a wife and 2 young daughters too.
  17. @MikeyD - Try posting here.. I'm a member there as I have a 2011 Explorer Limited and everyone is extremely helpful. Not trying to have you go elsewhere for help but that forum is specific for the 11-14 Explorers. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=152 And in the 3 years I've been a member there, I don't recall anyone mentioning the condensation issue with the intercooler on the explorers.
  18. It's not locked in or an exact date but I've been told the middle of April all issues will be resolved and everything should be back up and running. Obviously subject to change in either direction but that's what I know as of a few days ago.
  19. I'm honestly not sure why there is late availability on the F450 or the paints. Akirby I believe (without scrolling up) said that it might be with the launch of other vehicles however all the colors are available starting 4/17 so I'm not sure how that pertains to other launches. I'm hoping for an end of April delivery.
  20. No, the discount is only a few hundred dollars below invoice.
  21. MorePower, you threw my for a loop when you questioned my formula lol. I was correct the first time. Straight from the Ford partner website (yes it is less then 1/2 of a percent): Ford Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice) Lincoln Dealer Invoice + (0.6% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice) https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/jsp/howitworks/fordpartner_rules.htm (section 6) Xplan puts you close to invoice but only allows the $100 worth of paperwork fees. If a dealer is cheap on the fees (one of my area dealers doesn't charge any fees but for the title. Others like the dealer I originally ordered from charges $369. So if invoice was $63,000. I'd pay $63,000 - (63,000 * 0.004 = $252) + $275 admin fee. So $63,000 - $252 + $275 = $63,023. That's what I'd end up paying on Xplan. It's not much cheaper but for those who don't like haggling, it is a great way to walk out close to invoice. Others like to haggle and can get under invoice so it all depends on the type of person you are.

  23. LOL, good catch.. sorry let me correct that. Invoice - (invoice * 0.04) + $275 admin fee. Based on what I was told, F450s won't start being built till July. Nobody has said a specific date yet. Yes my truck was built on 3/24 but I was advised not to take it so I canceled it on 3/27 and reordered on 3/28. Just waiting for the word that the issues are resolved and it will be pushed through immediately to be built for me.
