  1. Ever wonder why your credibility is lacking? Sharpen your reading skills: 22 December 2007 - It is with great disappointed that we announce an ending to a long and successful relationship with Ford Motor Company. BIGFOOT has been with Ford for 23 great years. We have been a BIG part of keeping the Ford F-series truck the #1 selling trucks in America and Ford has helped make BIGFOOT the best know and loved Monster Truck in the world. As much as this saddens us we are also excited about our future opportunities. Lowlights: - End of our 23-year relationship with Ford Motor Company.
  2. Since it comes with remote on the key for '08 and a separate fob in earlier years, why did you buy this? I've had those keypads on 4 vehicles for over 10 years and have never used them once. But to each their own.
  3. Obviously 3 different forums you've asked this in now. What's up with that? here is what you have written already.... "I actually own both. I recently asked the same question on a cadillac forum. It was interesting to see their responses. Check them out http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadil...incoln-mkx.html "
  4. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pinto Except for 1973 and 1980, the Pinto was available with two engines. The first was always the smallest and least powerful of the two and was the standard engine offered. The second was always a larger, more powerful engine available at extra cost. For the first four years of production, only four cylinder inline engines were offered. As can be seen in the following breakout of available engines, Ford changed the power ratings almost every year.[2] Of particular note is the introduction in 1974 of the 2.3 L (144 CID) OHC I4 engine. This engine would be updated and modified several times allowing it to remain in production into 1997. Among other Ford vehicles, a turbocharged version of this engine would later power the performance based Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and Mustang SVO.[2] 19711.6 L (98 CID) Kent OHV I4 - 75 hp (56 kW) and 96 ft.lbf (130 Nm) 2.0 L (122 CID) EAO SOHC I4 - 100 hp (74.5 kW) [*]1972 1.6 L Kent - 54 hp (40 kW) 2.0 L EAO - 86 hp (64 kW) [*]1973 2.0 L EAO - 86 hp (64 kW) [*]1974 2.0 L EAO - 86 hp (64 kW) 2.3 L OHC - 90 hp (67 kW) [*]1975 2.3 L OHC - 83 hp (62 kW) 2.8 L (170 CID) Cologne V6 - 97 hp (72 kW) [*]1976 2.3 L OHC - 92 hp (69 kW) and 121 ft.lbf (163 Nm) 2.8 L Cologne - 103 hp (77 kW) and 149 ft.lbf (201 Nm) [*]1977 2.3 L OHC - 89 hp (66 kW) and 120 ft.lbf (162 Nm) 2.8 L Cologne - 93 hp (69 kW) and 140 ft.lbf (189 Nm) [*]1978 2.3 L OHC - 88 hp (66 kW) and 118 ft.lbf (159 Nm) 2.8 L Cologne - 90 hp (67 kW) and 143 ft.lbf (193 Nm) [*]1979 2.3 L OHC - 88 hp (66 kW) and 118 ft.lbf (159 Nm) 2.8 L Cologne - 102 hp (76 kW) and 138 ft.lbf (186 Nm) [*]1980 2.3 L OHC - 88 hp (66 kW) and 119 ft.lbf (160 Nm)
  5. NO! Some of the ones who left, rehired back in again, and they had either took the 100K/140K/pension and now make an additional 33/hr. Can we say double dip? So what do the ones who stayed get? The opportunity to turn OT down. Plus an additional credit for each year they stay that the plant is open = $1260 extra/yr retirement. 35K / 1260 = 27.7 years to make up for the loss of 35K if your a 30/yr employee.
  6. 5 (8's) = 33 x 40 = 1320 x 13 = 17160 7 (8's) = 33 x 68 = 2244 x 13 = 29172 5 (12's) = 33 x 70 = 2310 x 13 = 30030 7 (12's) = 33 x 112 = 3696 x 13 = 48048 Pretty pathetic when someone has to work 7 days a week 12 hours a day.. usually their 30+ yr. employee's too
  7. I priced it online at Ford's site. You load one up and see what it costs. I'd go max about 32, and that's loaded too.
  8. Too BIG, Too expensive, And doesn't rate a second look. I wouldn't pay close to 50K for this. and I don't think others will waste their money on it either.
  9. Before anyone else reply's to this asshole, read this : Cnorman's Last Posts Your an ass norman
  10. http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID...ESS01/712190349 The promise to consider the bonuses -- which wasn't a guarantee they would be offered -- was made in a side letter to the 4-year labor contract recently ratified by the UAW, the Free Press has learned............................
  11. Why was the T-Bird dropped? Tastes have changed.. You'll see the same thing happen to the Challenger, and possibly the Camaro soon, Prices of $3/gal Gas, is causing the demise of SUV's, and a flight to better fuel economy. All this talk of people demanding more HP, is just talk to the vast majority of people. You get a vehicle that does 22 avg. sticker, and they want 26 out of it. When your just talking 30-40 K vehicles. at least Ford can't afford to drop a $|-|!TLoad of $ on that anymore. Just looking that the seat that have buckled in a Toyota has shocked me into why that is slipping by so far? They killed the Pinto for less than that. Most of the Pinto drivers were going to Hell anyways. J/K
  12. I wish I knew an answer here, but this just might be the thing to break the media's back, on their bias against anything American. That link I posted up higher, had a disclaimer in it about the recent Toyota problems coming to light before this award went to press. BUT Toyota will now tout this 'award' for a year and you know how people will receive that. Somehow if the media can get this shoved down their throat like they've done to the US for YEARS, maybe... just maybe, consumers will........ NAW, that's like me getting the pony for Christmas I've always wanted.
  13. SOB, that man was Right and he has the balls to say it too. I'm fucking ashamed, where are the real people in this country that can't stand up and say it like this guy? I know I'm intimidated and have to look around and over my shoulder when I say I'm surprised that the Secret Service has done such a marvelous job, If you understand what I mean, Because the G.D. Gov, has intimidated too many of us into the position we ARE in today.
  14. The all-new Tundra beat out the Silverado Heavy Duty, GMC Sierra Heavy Duty and Ford F-Series Super Duty for the honor. Each had to be new or redesigned and released in the 12 months before Jan. 1, 2008 to contend for the honor. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/071218/motor_trend_truck.html?.v=1
  15. Amazing isn't it... How does the Media give this a 'Truck of the Year'? WHO is judging this type of awarding? http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/071218/motor_trend_truck.html?.v=1
  16. http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?A...PDATE/712180447 General Motors Corp. today announced plans for a targeted buyout program that will offer retirement incentives to 5,200 of its 72,000 hourly workers starting next month, paving the way for more employees to be hired under a two-tier wage system recently negotiated with the United Auto Workers. ..........................
  17. Good fucking Riddance you POS! Considering I only made $4.95 total income for the year, you are right on only one thing in your post. LOL. small dent in the rear bumper..
  18. NO, your just a flat out POS yourself, since your linking into the Edge forum then people need to see YOUR post in that forum, He's just carguy their. Look at each one of his posts their, First reply to him was how through his research was.. that was given that he had done NO research.. He answered one post by saying that the edge had bad brakes, Tell that to almost 150K owners that bought them that everyone considers their brakes bad. Bottom line is, he jumped into the middle of an ongoing discussion and like all new people - he has no idea where a thread has been, but he;'s an expert giving his expert opinion. He has no intention of purchasing,, most people can tell that, He's one of those consumer reports customers.. they have to read everything positive to make their mind up that they purchased something that was good. Now he lusts for an Edge, but has a shitload of excuses as to why he can't buy one, bottom line is, money he hasn't got enough. Cargay is just that, a troll, and will never buy Ford, but now has latched into here and will extroll the virtues of totoada.
