The COLA was only suspended it wasn't taken away. And the gov't is saying that there isn't any COLA anyways. So we really didn't lose anything. If this union had any balls, and a lot of folks aren't gonna like this, and Bob King had any gonads he'd be telling those states that we can take our business elsewhere. Since this is supposed to be a partnership with Ford I'd be telling them no new products are going into any plant that pulls that right to work crap. Then I'd tell McConnell and Rand to stick it up their asses. I know from talking to folks in my plant that a lot of union people got suckered into the teabaggers party. They're gonna get teabagged all right!

I don't know how many locals out there elect whatever number of bargaining reps and the top vote getter is the chairmn instead of have a separate race for chairman and bargaining. Is this in your by-laws and what do they say and have you always done it this way and is it better? I just wonder because what if you got two guys who are pretty decent and both run for the same job. Then you end up losing a decent guy and maybe getting a asshole instead.

Brother I think you got it wrong. Don Rowe doesn't work at Avon and he didn't steal anything from the membership. What I was told was he doubledipped or something but paid it back. Pena actually stole checks from hourly people getting a package. You can go to the justice center clerk of courts and look at the file. They even had a copy of one of the checks Pena signed. I didn't know they brought in some writing expert but they did. I don't know if you can get copies of it but I wanted to read it myself and it was there. He admitted it to. Don Rowe and Fred Pena are different cases. Its all there. Its some pretty freaky s**t.

Don Rowe isn't at OHAP. I don't know where he is. But I don't think this is racial. How? If you stole something then you stole something. Charges and jail time? That's what a lot of us want to know. There had to be some kind of deal cut with the company and the union because the company don't do nothing for free and we're gonna be the ones paying for it. Then he goes and steals checks from people who retired. What kind of person does this? Why is it still a issue? Because his brother is our standards rep and our standards are fubar and its got a lot of us wondering if this was also part of the deal. He steals and gets caught and then gets a nice chunk of change and is working at another UAW plant and is going to run for chairman there? And this is stuff that Fred is saying! He doesn't hide it! Its almost like he's proud of it. He was telling some of us that he was actually trying to get his job at our plant back. The facts are that this is bullshit. I just found out that this stuff is public record now so I'm going to find that public record and see the facts myself. Trying to throw other people under the bus like you did is just wrong. How do we trust someone like you now whos a rep but is taking sides? Pretty biased! These guys may be friends of yours but they are no good. Let Fred fight his own battle. Now we get this letter about a line speed increase and how it won't change the jobs or nothing so now I guess we know how much this package for this a-hole thief cost us! Brother, this attitude by our leaders is more common than you think. I know that at our plant if you question our chairman he will stop at nothing to get you back. Take a look at the corruption posts on here. It's outta control. Most of these presidents and whatnot act like we work for them and not the other way round. From what I've seen since the last concessions contract the International thinks that way to.

Did the rep who got fired get fired for stealing checks from the people who took the buyout? Did he have to pay it back? Did he file a grievance? Did he withdraw that grievance? Did someone - would have to be Nick or Chris Viscomi since he's our International rep - reinstate that grievance? Did they settle the grievance by giving him a package? Now either he did what people are saying or he didn't. If he didn't then why did he get fired? If he did then why did he get a package? I think we have a right to know especially since he did all this when he was a rep and was able to do this kind of thing because of being a rep! Chris Viscomi, since you know so much about this why don't you answer these questions? Let's get the truth out the in the open! I just hope you answer it before night shift starts because I'd like to know.

How many skilled trades are getting laid off? Are they offering another package? What about the trades that weren't allowed to take the last package? One of the electricians said that they would go but they weren't getting the package. Were there other trades like that? How many names were taken off the list? Did more names get added? Who isn't going now? What is the seniority that would get to go? Are they calling people back? What is going to happen to those maintenance guys? Do they go back to the line or out the door? If he made a deal to lay off maintenance guys to get a couple of guys off the list then he got screwed! Who do we call about his? Tim Donnovan? Somebody else? Why lay off the trades? Why not get rid of some of those appointed reps that don't do anything? How many years do most of those appointed reps have? I bet it's more than 30! Can somebody tell us how much time the appointed people have? And how many appointed people are there? We need to save the people who acktually do something!

Hey Veteran how do you know what happened? Where you there or are you saying what Nick told you? I talked to the bargaining guys too and they're telling me what Spring is saying on here so something is wrong and it looks like Nick is whats wrong this time. Does Nick and his flunkies (appointees) really think we're that stupid? I just want to know if we're really stuck with this guy for the next three years or can we do something about it? One of the relief guys said something about a petition. So we know we're getting mass on monday but what we don't know is whats going to happen to the relief guys in trim and chassis. Do they bump, go to available work, bust back to previous classification or what? Tim Rowe told me THAT was the sticking point and I believe him before I believe a damn word that Nick says because from what I've seen Nick's a damned liar.

So we have to sides still duking it out. Just notice which side isn't afraid to say who they are and uses their real names. Tells me a lot about integrity and character. Looks like some folks have stuff to hide.
