    I didn't know that. I know my dad's 04 Lariat has it, but I didn't see it in press pictures, so I was curious as to whether it was still around.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it shares the entire engine compartment area (basically from the a-pillar forward), but other than that, I think it's different.

    That's strange. I say that because at the same time, the Harley-Davidson and King Ranch models are technically option packages on the Lariat model, yet they are listed as separate models in most places.

    Does anybody know if the overhead rail system is still standard? In one picture I saw, the truck didn't have it, and it didn't have a sunroof. Or maybe is it optional, or was it always optional?

    I'm interested in seeing it too. It will represent several things. It will represent Lincoln's continued product-led revitalization along with the new commitment to having different sheetmetal for platform sharing products. Those are the two major things it represents.

    That's interesting, I just realized that wasn't in the models listed. I would think they would continue it, since they just came out with it. I know I see quite a few near me. Maybe it will be similar to the Harley, where it debuts a year after the truck's original debut.

    Do you mean like a heads up display? If so, then no, the F-150 doesn't have that.

    I like having steering wheel controls. I don't even need to look anywhere when using them. Also, I can keep my hands on the steering wheel when using them.

    It was decided that TC production would be moved to St. Thomas and be produced alongside the other Panthers until 2010 I believe, when another product will replace it. (or is that new product coming in 2012?)

    Look at it this way, Ford is employing people and providing their families with the means ($$$) to get the means to survive.

    IIRC, in one of the F-150 press releases, it mentioned a larger PowerDome hood, which would be for larger engines, I'd assume.

    I don't like the front end either. I dont like the grille or how the bumper appears to 'melt'/blend into the fog lamps. I like how Ford has the black housing around them that fills the space between the bumper/foglamp.
