  1. Thats pretty cool. What program did you do that in?
  2. The CX-9 is a slightly bigger vehicle, though.
  3. Ummmm, hasn't Mustang always had less power than the Chevy and Dodge offerings?
  4. I agree with that statement as well.....I also don't like the C-pillar area rear door handles either.....on any SUV.
  5. I like the new "Jacks" emblem in your sig.
  6. Sure....the Sable was on there for a little while you didn't see it?
  7. Sure....the Sable was on there for a little while you didn't see it?
  8. I think it's ridiculous that they base the winner of a large SUV test on who accelerates the fastest.....that'd be one of the last things on my list, more of a perk to me. I would be more concerned with cargo dimensions seating comfort/accessability, storage compartments/use of space, ride comfort, towing ability, etc...things that you'd actually use in a large SUV, over acceleration. That said, I don't see why they say it's a tacky dash, I think the Expedition looks amazing inside. I too agree the guages are a little iffy, I think they'd look better if they had smaller center circles/pieces where the needles connect, along with a slight changing of the chrome box around the info center (maybe have it not stick out as much?) Other than that, I love the interior and would take it anyday over the other 3 options.
  9. I think he means that since (I assume, at least) the Tribute is made on the same assembly line as the Escape/Mariner, Ford is recieving a larger amount of profit on Tribute as opposed to, say a CX-9, which Mazda produces itself.
  10. I believe the "S" model is the only one that doesn't have the vent, and like you, the only one's I've seen have had the vent...either an SE or SES. I also agree with you about the colors/vent combos.
  11. Well that's good news, I guess....sounds like a pretty good engine lineup.
  12. Whatever.....I happen to like the MKZ and Milan rear ends, except for the undersized exhaust pipes.
  13. Sorry, no redesign that I know of, I just assumed it would when Escape is redone.....I'll change that, sorry for the misunderstanding.
  14. According to the numbers I found....The EMT (Escape/Mariner/Tribute) triplets outsold both RAV-4 and CR-V. Feb-2008: Escape - 14,192 Mariner - 3,043 Tribute - 1,386 ------------------ Total - 18,621 RAV-4 - 10,377 CR-V - 15,694 NOTES: Escape itself beat RAV-4, while CR-V outsold Escape by ~1,500 units. RAV-4 sales down like 11% from 15K (and some change) units.
  15. Well, the same company somehow convinced 196,000 people to buy an inferior Tundra last year.
  16. I see, sorry, I misunderstood you.
  17. That interior is hideous (well, the whole truck is, but....), the normal Tundra taillights look ridiculous on the dually widened rear (which continues the fender flares to the rear of the vehicle, yuck)...it's just downright ugly, and knowing people, just because it has a Toyota emblem on it, they'd buy it.
  18. That's what I mentioned, you may not need it ever, but it's nice to know that you do have it if you need it, for example you and your friends going out to eat and only taking one car instead of two because of that 3rd row. Also, the 2nd row seats slide forward some, so legroom could be ok for adults in the 3rd row (it's been a while since we looked at one, so I don't remember). That said, I wish Edge would offer some options that many other Ford products offer such as: -Cooled front row seats -10 way power front seats (or at least driver as to not lose tthe fold-flat passenger seat, but even that feature I'm not sure how much I would use) -I would also like to see Edge take more inspiration from Expedition/F-150's interior, incorporating some wood trim AND metallic trim, not just metallic (I like wood) Those are the only few I can think of right now.
  19. I believe that's more where the Explorer will fit in, an Edge/GM Lambda-type crossover with SUV styling/look. If a 7 passenger Edge was made, it would then overlap with the upcoming Explorer, although some may not like Explorer or Flex, so it may be smart to offer a 7 passenger Edge, who knows? For MKX, a 7 passenger model would make sense to me, since Lincoln's only crossovers will be MKX and T, no Explorer-type gap filler.....which would also strengthen the case for a 7 passenger Edge, since they share most of their sheetmetal. That said, however, with the MCE in '10, MKX is supposed to begin to move away from 'rebadged Edge' styling, so maybe a MKX-7 (passenger) could be it's own product, given the distinct sheetmetal?
  20. What do you mean? By posting my old/horrible stuff? If so, I figured I'd try to show everybody how bad I was and how far I've gotten in a few short years.
  21. Thanks, Im looking forward to seeing it.
