  1. What are saying here? You would be excited to see the dyno graph? Or, you are excited at the dyno graph you saw. If it's the latter, I would be excited to see it. Has this engine been built?
  2. Is there any new information on this engine? The '22 models are starting to arrive and this was stated to be used in some of this model years vehicles. Stray Kat reported earlier that he heard the engine line might be running, so I would think something should be leaking out.
  3. The 2.0L Ecoboost has been out for a month or three now. Does anyone have realworld driving experience with this combination? I am looking for power and driving feel plus actual gas mileage figures.
  4. You guys keep talking about the electrical and mechanical problems with VW. My experience has been nothing like that. I have owned three diesel VW's: 1980 Dasher wagon - 1981-1990, 1990 Jetta - 1990-2004, 2004 Jetta - 2004 to present. I have had to replace one headlight in each of the Jetta's and one backup light bulb in the '04. That is it. I had 150,000 miles on the 1980 Dasher and I averaged 48 mpg. My 1990 Jetta had 165,000 miles on it when I sold it to a friend. Last I heard it was still running with 210,000 on it. The current Jetta has 105,000 miles on it and runs perfect and I average 44 mpg and have seen 50 on trips. My 2002 Explorer has been pretty reliable if you don't count the transfer case solenoid replacement and right rear window motor replacement. So based on my experience VW has it over Ford. My new job requires a lot of travel, so I will look at the new Passat in a couple of months. I like Ford, but they won't build what I want.
  5. I am thinking about buying a new Edge, Explorer or Flex and I and would like information on the 2.0L Ecoboost engine. Specifically when will it be available and what are the power levels ang MPG ratings. I will be traveling more in the future and highway MPG's are important. My TDI Jetta is too small for my needs and Ford won't touch diesels in America. (No flaming please). I am about 2-3 months away from buying, but I like to get ahead on things.
