See this recall reminds me of when I was working at a car wash back in '02 '03 time frame. I always saw a TON of yotas and lexus' come through that had the hook still in the mat but the hook was disconnected from the floor. This really has been going on for a while.

+1 That car isn't too bad. 28 mpg mixed and it has 17k on the clock and hasn't seen the dealership's lift for anything but oil changes. As far as the other GM's she has had this one seems to be solid.

Big vehicle, small 4 banger doesn't equal good FE...Period. My 4 banger escape got around 23ish in the city but it wasn't as big as this is.

Ok here is what I think: 1) keep the s197 chassis and bring the "track pack" down to all versions of the mustang 2) Engines: 3.7L 280HP V6, 3.5L EB 365HP (Call this an ST), 5.0L 400+HP V8 (GT and tweek it with a shaker for a Mach 1 return) 6.2L NA 550+ HP V8 (cobra, be done with F/I for a change. I'm tired of the first thing out of the GM boys mouth being "Ford can't make power with out F/I") 3) Styling, change the car to a true fastback. go off the Iococca Anniversary Mustang. Just work on the lines to make it flow better 4) KEEP THE SRA SETUP!!!! A mustang isn't a mustang with IRS. This is what keeps the price of our cars down. Just add the track pack features and be done. 5) For pete's sake move the fog lights out of the grill and move them to the bumper. I have always disliked the fogs in the gill on the S197 cars. Look at how clean the V6 2010 pony package looks compared to a GT. That is all I can think of. I LOVE my V6 S197 and hope to keep it for a very long time. Keep of the hard work Ford. We can't sit back and just hang out for 7 years like we have. The camaro coming back is the best thing to happen to the mustang in a long time. Now we need to get ahead of it and stay out in front.

Well if all the cars hyundai makes are as worthless and junky as the '10 Sonata rental I have right now then NO ONE needs to worry about Hyundai being #1. Poor car can't get out of its own way, Has the most tupperware interior of ANY car I have seen (and I own a cobalt) and the trans feels like it is never in the right gear. BLAH. Wish they had given me the malibu they had sitting outside.

Another blunder of GM. This is a really nice car. Rebrand the dang thing and make it an Impala or a Buick something.

Because that "brand new" V8 doesn't have two turbos hanging off it. Its a V8. It has a block, 8 cylinders, two heads with 16 valves in each and with four total cams. Not that big of a deal. Then look at the EB engines and all the plumbing for the turbos and the turbos themselves and the software to control them...get the picture?

And another thing...this is the same EPA that is part of the government that owns General Motors. No surprise of the numbers here.
