all i know is one guy in our frame department at ktp dayshift is taking it thats all that i have heard in my area..... :stats:

we are trying but its tough....all the religious nuts in western ky make it difficult.. bitch mcconnell is from louisville... and believe me he is hated here locally . loses everytime in louiville.....he mentions abortions and guns and gays and those backwards ass country folk fall to their knees and beg the "bitchster" to save them......

i could not agree more.... we need this good pr... i was at a restuarant here in louisville last night and over heard two idiots debating the auto industry and especially the "overpaid auto workers" hope we fail... blah blah .. dont have any sympathy for them blah blah...they make $37.00 an hour... . . i almost lost it..... unfortunately we must make this gesture.... other wise the public will never support us......live to fight another day.......come out of this stronger... who knows if gm /chrysler go out of business our position will be stronger....THEN WE BARGAIN FROM A POSITION OF STRENGTH....... i wish the other big 2 well but i wish us better.....have a good day

that is the situation in a nut shell...... ford has been profitable everywhere but the us until recently.. right or wrong they can declare bankruptcy in the us and still be a viable entity worldwide.....unfortunately with the american public so against domestic automakers(or so it seems) that ford and gm may say the hell with this and just declare bankruptcy and pull up roots and leave the us market..... it sucks....i hope it doesnt happen. i need my job.....

i got the same call i am confused ... talked to my team leader and he said johnny kleefoot told him we (frame line) report back monday 26th not the 2nd ... any help please.......i played the message 3 times... no where did it mention the 26th only feb 2nd.....

i could not agree more.... i avoid parties, gatherings, most interactions with people i know are gonna make assinine comments about ford workers uaw autoworkers etc etc.....JUST SICK OF IT!!!!!! i am afraid i am gonna snap... so i just avoid most people..........we just cant seem to win with the media tv radio newspaper....

most of what u say is true... however the most important point to make is YES...anyone could do what we do.. most would not last for years of daily grind on your mind body and SPIRIT!!!... i dont know if u work on the line or never were an employee....but unless you have built trucks in the summer time when the temp is in the ninetys with 75 % humidity working in the frame department with no air conditioning people have no idea wht it takes... no i am not entitled to anything...JUST A LITTLE RESPECT!!!!!
