well some people are slow so what i am trying tell you is that lap added skill tradesmen with out posting the jobs and they did that so machine repair that are working the line could not sign the millwright jobs that they added

millwrights pipefitters tinners itr added at lap with no posting i ask one of the millwrights if they where full time now and he said finally with date of entry and full time skilled trades pay how can you add trades with out posting the job i was told so that machine repair could not sign the millwright jobs so they did not post lap does not have machine repair the millwrights do their job at lap

its not just there, at lap you would think that the chairman and skilled trades rep didnt even know what a contract is, if it were not for the fact that i was raised in a union home and a have deep union heart i would drop my card, i get no representation here because what i grip about does not go with their agenda even though it is by the contract that i pay dues to have protected, it is a sad day in the uaw when a skilled trades rep tells a member the only time you call me is when someone is doing your work. and says i gave you the chance to make over time as he promotes other trades doing your work but calls it helping hands but does not follow the contract pertaining to helping hands yes this is a shit hole

i hope it works out for you but you need to see the concessions from a year ago i got an email at the plant from the chair at ktp outlining the concession package and there was a letter from ron g stating that lap and ktp would need all their employes come 2010 2011 and no transfers would be allowed in or out because THEY DID NOT WANT TO UP SET FAMILIES i gave acopy of letter to JC who transfered to kc with us check it out and again i hope everything works out for you and bunch
