I'm not quite sure what is going on with the two of you and your posts, but from where I am sitting life is pretty good.I get a 40 hour check every week, and I'm not working in an assembly plant.We even work a few Fridays, bcs manegment screwed something up during the week.Ask some of the people who bailed the first time and signed up to go to other plants.With the exception of the Saline plant, most people came running back to Rawsonville when they had the chance.If said employee is so unhappy at Rawsonville, why didin't you sign up to leave when you had the chance?I've worked at a few plants and the politics are all the same, only the location and the players change.We have all seen the "indirect labor" take a cut, and many clipboard jobs have been eliminated.Just wondering when we all going to cut some of the green vests, as they seem to be the most expensive labor costs we have.Not the mention the most idiotic.

I'm one of those "ypsi" transfers, in fact one of the firsts to transfer over to Rawsonville.We were never told, directly or indirectly that Raws would be just a waiting point.Our plant was closing and we had a choice to go with our jobs, and most of us did.In the last few years we have seen lots and lots of areas leave and lots of product lost.We have also seen lots of starter jobs, and the componets that go with the starters come in.I have worked with many people and most are very concerned with quality, and fight every day with management to make a quality part.Many lines have problems with outside vendors shipping in crap parts, and we have to deal with these things.I have been very impressed with UAW workers caring about their product, and as a result their jobs.Keep us the good work Rawsonville UAW.Hopefully the plant will stay open, and we will get the battery job.

We were told at Rawsonville that a no show, no vote is an automatic YES VOTE.With some of the locals voting on Sunday, we need to clear this issue up.Regardless of how we feel, we all need to exercise our RIGHT to vote.PLEASE everyone, VOTE<VOTE<VOTE.

Pulse, I think we all appreciate the positive vibes and energy, but your still not telling us anything.Are there in fact new jobs for the plant, and what is the estimated time frame, numbers,etc?How will the two-tier pay system work with regard to the new jobs?What is going on with the toolmakers being put in GEN but working on the floor?When will the list be posted for who is going to Saline and when?What happens when GEN is over?Are we losing SUB pay, and what will the concessions be?These are just a few questions off the top of my head I would like answered?Not to mention who you are and where do you get your info.

I LOVE my F150 and can't wait to see one on the dealers lot.Considering buying one of the new ones,just want to see one in person.Be safe going back to work, and have a good launch.

What is going on at Ford.On the flip side, to all the women out there, is it just me or does it seem like all the HOT guys that work at Ford are in trades?I know in the summer everyone is HOT, and sweaty and some are even stinky. Ha Ha LOL

Does anyone have an actual information about the plant?Like how many people are leaving to go to other plants?How many people are in GEN now, and has alternator balanced out?Have been on TLO and just wondering whats up at the plant.

Question??How many weeks per year does an employee have to work to count as a year for retirement purposes?And does time on a tlo count against those weeks or towards those weeks.Have been on multiple tlos this year with more to come and just wondering how this affects retirement time, not that i will ever get there but still wondering.THanks in advance.

Can someone take the pulse of the plant and report.Anyone jumping ship and signing up to go to other plants?What do you guys think?Should we take a chance and try to get a spot somewhere else, or believe the hype that Raws will be ok?Lots of choices. :unsure:
