  1. LOL! Nah...but I'll be sure not to say anything about d******ts. How do you feel RTW in Ford buildings would impact the companies performance? We would be fooling ourselves if we thought it wouldn't impact the company 1 way or another.
  2. This has a direct affect on the whole entire structure of Ford Motor Company... will it thrive or die? http://youtu.be/4gYBBE2acxs
  3. You may have a valid point Wiz...but I'm just going on the bullshit the company tells us at National Ford Council. They referred to components as well.
  4. Call the National Ford Department. 313-926-5000
  5. LOL!...you can have whatever you liiike!
  6. You are quite welcome!
  7. All we are hearing from the company is that they are at full capacity and can't build enough vehicles to match demand. Well...if memory serves me correctly we have a couple moth balled plants...one of them being Wixom.
  8. It will be phased out December 31, 2013. It is still available now and any case you may have in the system on the end date will be followed through until completion. The national number is 800-572-1383. They will direct you to a local office in your area.
  9. uhhhhh...but how will one know? I noticed the hole on the side of the doughnuts are extra small. Any idea what he uses to fill them....naaah...SAY IT ISN'T SOOOO!!! BUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  10. Life is like a box of jelly doughnuts...you just never know what flavor you'll get until you bite into one!!! =D
  11. See...the fund is already at a healthy level and he's taking the initiative! Go Bigcountry!!!
  12. What's that...the Big Country Appetizer Program? LOL!
  13. ...unless you bring the HR manager and/or plant chairperson a bakers dozen of Bigcountry's world famous peanut and corn doughnuts and make a donation to the "Big Bubba Country Doughnut Relief Fund" in their names.
  14. I donated mine to the "Big Bubba Country Doughnut Relief Fund". This fund provides doughnuts to members who are laid off, on medical, or on workers compensation. As the fund grows, we will launch a pilot program at local 600 in an effort to include entry level members and members experiencing financial difficulties due to divorce, foreclosure's, and government levy's. Stay tuned! =D
  15. Sign the check and cash it...the statute of limitations has elapsed and you will not be able to go back and sue for yourself. Plus...if there is any additional doughnut money in the future, you will automatically receive it. Ask Big Country if you don't believe me...LOL!
  16. I forgot what I wanted to say about this due to the length of time it took me to pry my f*ckin' jaw off my desk...you can't be serious!?!?!?
  17. But you were working...any other place and you would have sat out on Indefinite Layoff until and opening in your trade was available. You would have ran out of unemployment and forced to take any measly job you could. It was the UAW that negotiated this for you and others. It wasn't Ford that LET you work production with NO production time. Yeah...it sucked going to DTP...but was it better than McDonald's? Now I hear you are back to working your tools...why so ungrateful?
  18. You mean like getting you back to your tools and letting you work production while you were waiting? That union? Oh...wait a minute...now I'M confused.
  19. Nope...no corn ones. But there were some raisin ones and peanut ones that the salary pukes were devouring! Hahahahahahahahaha!
  20. The program definitely needs some tweaking. I'm not so sure, but it seems logical to say..."Hey, you get sick, go to the doctor. We'll send the bill to Medi-care" We are already taxed for that and SSI, so just open the program and divide it into departments; Retiree's, Disability, and Health Care. Pool all the resources. On a different note Longball...when you want to reply to an individual poster, click on the "quote" box in the lower right corner and then we know where your comment is directed. =)
  21. The donuts were the BOMB! Thanks Big Country! =D
  22. I agree and understand. The root of all this truly is the "cost of healthcare", and that is one of the reasons for this bill. It kinda reminds me off the old saying..."if you can't bet 'em...join 'em"...because the providers and pharmaceuticals have been claiming "the more members...the lower the price" mantra...the ACA is aimed at beating them at their own game. A lot of younger healthier folk's won't even need their insurance till later in life. Not that I like this route...but that equates to more money for the "industry". Let me say though...I don't feel the health care industry should be "for profit". They shouldn't profit from someones health/illness. Time will tell my man...
  23. Aren't you back on your tools Mister?
  24. Health care professionals. I think it's perception longball. Many of our caregivers are RN, NP, LPN, MA, PA...etc right now. They 'should' be able to continue their education and grow in the field, which will leave openings for new people. There are a lot of qualified folk's out there. And heaven forbid, the United States recruits well qualified physicians from other countries...legally. I just don't buy into the gloom & doom. This will be a gradual process and I think it's about time that ALL Americans can receive care when they need it.
