  1. If that's what he's saying I'm sure the SEC would be interested, maybe he should get some advice from M. Stewart on that....
  2. [quote The Associated Press, On Friday April 1, 2011, 6:29 pm DETROIT (AP) -- Vehicle March 2011 sales Percent change from March 2010 Ford F-Series 53,272 25.3 percent Chevrolet Silverado 32,555 8.9 percent Nissan Altima 32,289 31.0 percent Honda Accord 31,533 18.8 percent Toyota Camry 31,464 -13.2 percent Honda Civic 31,213 39.0 percent Toyota Corolla 30,234 2.1 percent Ford Fusion 27,566 21.0 percent Ford Escape 23,975 25.0 percent Hyundai Sonata 22,894 20.9 percent Source: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Topselling-cars-and-trucks-in-apf-2983257661.html?x=0&.v=1 The Altima really was close to outselling the Silverado.... And three Fords in the Top 10
  3. In March, total sales were 212,777, up 19 percent. Retail sales were up 14 percent and fleet sales were up 29 percent (commercial was up 50 percent, government was up 33 percent and daily rental was up 13 percent). That means between retail, commercial, government and daily rental for the month of March it is daily rentals that increased the least.....
  4. The Focus Rally at the beginning was not well branded as Ford....GM ads seem ho hum ho hum...the Chrysler ad, was too long but had good messaging I think.
  5. Ok, question guys. I keep up on pics on Weick on auto photos. Lincoln just did a dump of all their models going back to the 30's. That would indicate to me they are unveiling something, does anyone have any word?
  6. Thanks Austin, and your comment makes sense. I'm usually the same way, but happened to like the Jeepesque look of the current Escape. Guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.
  7. Does anyone know when the embargo ends on the Escape/Kuga pics? Is it tonight at midnight or are they tight lipped till tomorrow morning?
  8. Maybe FordBuyer, but remember retail sales were up 9%, and fleet sales went from being over 35% of the mix to under 30% of the mix.
  9. So GM is down 19%, what I don't understand is how they are allowed to list Saab, Pontiac, Hummer, & Saturn as part of their overall sales. With those taken out GM barely sold over 160k and Toyota would be the largest automaker selling in the US & Ford would be right there in the mix with GM
  10. Does anyone have the NHTSA list of top 10 cars traded in and top 10 cars sold under the CARS program.
  11. I'm amazed that they released the #'s early before their usual Noon time release. I wonder what prompted them to do that? Solid numbers though, some pretty impressive percentage increases.
  12. I think George Pipas in the conference call said Retail Market share for the month was in the 13% range.
  13. I really don't like that Ford doesn't report adjusted numbers like everyone else.
