  1. I was curious as to whether anyone else noticed that when backing up with the radio on, it does not mute the radio when something comes in the way of the sensors. This is different then what happend on my 04 Expedition, which always automatically turned down the radio when in reverse and the sensors detected something in their proximity. Anyone else have the same thing happen or is it just me? Thanks for your input!
  2. I appreciate the feedback and observations. Again, I only drove it 30 miles before I parked it at the airport and headed out of town for this week. I'm anxious to spend some more time behind the wheel.
  3. A few observations so far.... Although I only drove my 09 FEH Limited yesterday for about 30 miles before I headed to the airport for my travel this week, it seemed to me that the gas engine is rather noisy when it's running and that it doesn't have much power. I don't remember that on the 08 FEH that I test drove earlier this year. Anyone else feel that way too or am I being too picky? It also seems that from a complete stop, the second you barely touch the gas pedal it goes right from electric to gas engine. Again, that seems quick to me, but I'm guessing I probably haven't learned how to drive this thing the right way, yet. Thoughts? Thanks! WSG
  4. Update.....picked it up today. Still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles on the Nav system. The car drives interestingly....not as quiet as I thought when the gas engine is running. All and all, I'm impressed and looking forward to getting to know this vehicle better.
  5. I saw my 09 FEH LTD today, IT DOES ACTUALLY EXIST!!!! :happy feet: My company purchases thru a fleet company and the fleet department of the delivering dealer is closed on the weekend. It's funny, nobody from the dealership bothered to let me know that it was in. (although they only make $150 on the entire transaction) I was in the neighborhood of the dealership this afternoon and stopped by. We walked their vehicle lot and there it was with a nice bright red tag hanging from the rearview mirror SOLD (to me). Anyhow, with any luck I'll pick it up on Monday if they get the paperwork taken care of, otherwise I'll have to wait another week, until I'm back in town. Keep your fingers crossed! This must mean the bottle neck is finally clearing up and the recently produced vehicles are starting to arrived at the dealers. (Mine was produced on 9/11/08 and the dealer is in Southern CA, in Long Beach, CA) More to follow....

  7. I understand your frustration. Although I haven't been waiting as long as you have once it was produced, but mine was built on 9/11/08 and still hasn't shipped yet. I ordered it on April 17th.
  8. Bump for any possible updates. Thank you!
  9. By no means is this official information, but I spoke with our company fleet manager today (we have (3) 09 FEH Limited's) on order and he got an email from our Ford rep last Friday and said that the delay in shipping had something to do with the aftermath of the hurricane in Houston as that's where some type of shipping point is for the rail cars and that there were over 92 rail cars waiting for shipment (not all obvioiusly with Ford vehicles). Anyhow so this may be adding to the delay. Again it's only second hand information that I was given. WSG
  10. Bump for any updates and a possible Produced Date?
  11. Thanks ViperPilot! Finally moving forward. WSG
  12. Bump - to stay on the first page and inquire about any updates.
  13. I completely understand. Thanks for your help! We'll just wait and see. -WSG
  14. Thanks for checking! Any thoughts as to why I haven't moved out of the sequence date? - WSG
