According to Milan Leader newspaper:
* Automotive Component Holdings continues to be the biggest single taxpayer in the city, Swayze said, and its current business situation needs to be monitored. Swayze said that ACH has sold its equipment and book of business to Inergy Automotive Systems, which is considering building a new $28 million plant on the site of the ACH parking lot. An alternative site is also being considered in Huron Township
Local Union leaders claim this has not happened yet. Chairman has been out of the building all week. Why keep this info from the employees working in this facility? Information like this would be helpful to those of us still hanging on and waiting for an opening to flow back to. Our time in this facility is ticking down......the fat lady has sung her last song......
