It was about a year ago when I thought it was going to happen , that is when I jumped ship and went to DTP . With all the Mazda originals I new I would'nt make the cut. Good luck to all . I'm shocked they would jockey Saline people around .

Bought a focus today 17,000 - 4500 for clunker - 2,500 rebate - 900.00 a plan =9,100.00 out the door . I don't have a lot invested in this new car so if you park your new toyota next to my focus your going to have a door ding . Remember who still signs your checks. With a extra 2 billion in the coffers Ford better have the top seller .

If GM or any of the big three would borrow a couple more billion and apply that to buy outs I think there would be a line out the door . Gm 21,000 X a extra 100,000.00 = just another 2 billion

If they cut 200 from trim and send people to Saline will they have enough people to run 2 shifts? Do they want to?

\ I work c-crew , I was also( surveyed) The start date that was thrown around is March 22. They didn;t say which shift would bat first . So looks like 4 week on 2 weeks off . If they do pay shift premium to c-crew for working their weeks on days and afternoons that could piss a couple people off for not choosing c-crew over A or B . My guess c-crew won't get it.

7 months till October, 28 weeks ,1/3 of 28 =9 that would leave me with 30 weeks of SUB pay . My fear is what happens in the 4th quarter . No more C crew???

I also was told we stay on layoff till the 2nd, c-crew for a year don't know the hours for c-crew yet. something in the mail will be coming soon,i was told.Numbers don't seem to add up to me reading the postings 700 signing up from AAI but 5 plants being offered 367 jobs seems like a lot coming from AAI. -
Does anyone else have to show up to the learning center when we get back on the 20th?

Does anyone think we could loose 400 in every plant ? 10 years or less AAi saved 40,ooo,ooo alone.do they owe under 10years callback rights being there not vested?
